Thunder crashes. Rain pattered against the roof. You could hear it. Light flashed through the window. I woke up to a loud clap of thunder and bright flash. I lay there listening to the rain, contemplating what has happened.

When I snapped out of it, I could hear the whimpers and soft cries coming from the other room. "Alex?" I whispered. He didn't hear. I climbed out of the sofa and tiptoed into the bedroom. I couldn't see much but with another flash of light I saw him curled up into a ball.
"Alexander?" I whisper, louder than before though. He doesn't hear me again. I walk cautiously and quietly towards the bed. He's literally wrapped up in a ball. I place a hand on his shoulder. He was shaking uncontrollably and crying hysterically. He gasped when he felt my hand. He felt so hot. He had a burning temperature.
"Alexander are you okay?" I ask worriedly. He starts panting frantically. I rush to the other side of the room and turn on the light.

"I can't.... breathe!" He says in between short breaths. I start to panic. His temperature is through the roof, he was shaking, he was having a massive anxiety attack.
I check his pulse. It is crazy high. 200 per minute! "It's gonna be okay Alex!" I say, unsure. I dither around for a few moments then a massive clap of lightning rips through the sky. I take out my phone and call an ambulance. "I need an ambulance! I have a male who has a very high temperature and a pulse of 200 a minute. He's shaking so much. I really need help!" I give the operator my address and sit by his side. "You need to sit up. Come on," I usher him to sit up but he stays stiff and shaky. He couldn't move.
"I feel- like I-I'm going to-to e-e-explod-de!" He stutters as he pants madly. I lay down next to him and hold him, rubbing his arm. I pull off his  duvet and get rid of the pillows in attempt to cool him down. I try to fan and reassure him. His hands were clutching his shirt and trousers. Gripping like he would die if he let go.

Eventually I hear the alarms of the ambulance ringing nearer and nearer. I rush to the door and stand at it. They took for ever!

"In hear!!" I yelled waving frantically.
They picked Alex up and put on the bed thing.

The took him away.
