I'm sorry this story is so shit. If you've gotten this far congrats I'm surprised you haven't given up on life.
Basically what's happened if you're confused is:
• Hamilton cheated on Eliza and published the Reynolds pamphlet
• Alex turned up on johns doorstep in distress and disarray and Alex accidentally confesses his love towards john
• John goes to the Hamilton household to see Ale-- sorry I mean ask if he can help with anything (😏) but then the police ask for Eliza to come with them
• Philip is dead
• Alexander comes to Johns again and they do the do
• Alex and Eliza are fucking like there's no tomorrow
• Eliza is dead
• Alex and john have a sleepover and the storm hits
• Alex has a terrible panicky attack, nearly dies, goes to hospital
• comes home, storm still here
• Alex moved in technically
• at night, storm is back again and bedroom gets broken by a trampoline
• John has to go to work to get time off (is granted) storm has stopped in morning
• storm hits AGAIN and Alex (who was being babysitter by mullete) has another episode.
• John comes back and comforts him until he's ok again but his legs are broken
• John is shoving his feeling in he garbage
•he is about to share his life's story
