"Alexander, are you okay?" I say lightly. I had heard him whimpering and crying again.

The thunder and lightning and rain had worsened. You could hear the crashes and scuttling of things being swept out of people's gardens onto the street. I'd forced myself to stay awake all night. I didn't want to risk Alexander waking and panicking again. And he did.

I opened the door and tiptoed quickly to his bed. I sat on the bed and turned him around cautiously. he was crying frantically, his eyes were wide open. As soon as I turned him round he shot up and grabbed onto me. He shook uncontrollably and gripped onto my back, leaving bruises. But I didn't care.
He started to cry loudly, whimpering and wailing. I was near crying too but I stayed strong.

There was something wrong. Mentally, he was unwell. I'd seen it before. I'd felt it myself, just not at this level. He wasn't well, and it was my job to help him.

We sat there embracing for more than an hour while he cried. He wasn't calming down as well. But we then heard something heavy scraping across the ground getting louder and louder, nearer and nearer. I then heard a loud SMASH!!!
Pieces of glass and stone and dirt flew everything. I felt Alexander stiffen and he stopped crying. I pulled away and looked to the side.
A Trampoline had burst through the wall! Thank god the bed is on the other side of the room.
"Oh my god..." I say in shock.

I look back at Alexander. He is completely still as a statue, with his arms still up in the air from when we were hugging.
He then flops completely and faints onto the bed.
"Alexander? Alexander! Are you okay?
