No ones POV
He stares at nothing. His mind blank. Ever since Alexander killed himself he'd been broken. He spent the days alone in his house. He'd do absolutely nothing all day. He'd just sit and stare.
Lafayette and Hercules were extremely worried about him. They'd seen him after Alex's death. He wasn't okay. Not one bit. They both worked from home so they had plenty of time to help. They just didn't know how.
Alex hadn't even had a funeral because of the hurricane. Everything was ruined. buildings had been torn apart and there were trees scattered everywhere. People died. A lot of people died. In fact those who still had houses and their lives were lucky. But it's not like john or Lafayette or Hercules cared about that. Their best friend had killed himself because he couldn't get help. John had tried and he was so close to succeeding but then the hurricane came and devastation reigned. And john now blamed himself. He became depressed and anxious and emotionless. Lafayette and Hercules wished they could know what was happening in his brain. In his dreams was meeting Alexander in the after life. Death seemed to lure him in. It would convince him that it would be best. Nobody cared about him. He couldn't fulfil his duty to Alexander so what was his purpose on earth. It said he needed to move onto his next step into his existence. Death pulled him in until one day he hanged himself in his bathroom, the same place Alexander killed himself.
George Washington was the one to find him. His closest friends planned his funeral. It took place after the hurricane ended and everyone had recovered from it, which was years, sadly. Hercules mulligan decided John should share his funeral with Alexander, knowing that's what they would want. He'd known they were in love from the beginning and he couldn't help but feel like he didn't do enough to support them. Everyone, in fact, thought they could do more to help.
Hundreds of people wanted to attend the funeral, to show their respect and to apologise. But only 27 people got to attend. Everyone had something to apologise for. But why was it that the people who had the least to say sorry for, felt the worst?
The world was never the same after the great lawyer Alexander Hamilton and the human rights supporter and hero John Laurens had passed away. Their loved ones never recovered.
But it was Aaron Burr and Thomas Jefferson who told their stories. They told the world how they were both mentally unwell and raised thousands of dollars for mental health charities world-wide. In the end, no one asked why they made sure their names echoed through history. They'd told each other about the only thing they had in common and that brought them together. They fell in love and stayed happily together for the rest of their lives. (Dear past me: weird ship but ok)
The names Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens were indeed preserved through time.
The End...
Don't worry, I will probably continue the story but I'm going to take some time working on other stories and improving this one. Thank you for reading.
