Diego's POV
4 years later...
Why can't she shut the hell up already?
".....imagine all the new attractions you would be getting Diego! Oh and don't forget that Mom and Dad would be so thrilled." Rebecca stopped to take a breathe.
"Rebecca, por favor, please shut the fuck up!" I exclaimed.
"Excuse me for trying to get your restaurant more attention." Her left eye twitched a little indicating that she was getting pissed.
"I know your intentions are good but I don't know if I want to take that risk yet," I ran my hands through my hair trying to ease my frustration.
Rebecca looked at me for a moment as if analyzing my every movement.
After a few months of the restaurant opening, many people would ask me if I was planning on building elsewhere. At first I had been a little hesitant because I didn't have a lot of experience. But with the help of my older siblings and my parents I managed to build in different cities and soon in different states.
Running the bussiness was pretty difficult at first and it took a while to get used to things again but I got the hang of it.
Right now though the only problem was Rebecca. She kept on insisting that I hire Gabriella Hernandez to redecorate one of my restaurants. The only issue I had with that is that most of my restaurants were the same colors and they had a similar structure. I wasn't sure if I wanted to change that yet.
"Diego, Gabriella Hernandez is a world famous interior designer. Imagine the amount of people who would come eat at your restaurant."She did have a point there.
"Rebecca, escuchame, listen to me. Right now I am more worried about the new restaurant I'm opening in Miami. I do not need to stress over redecorating a fucking restaurant that's already decorated." Taking deep breathes I headed over to where I kept my Jack Daniels bottle.
My apartment wasn't huge but some people-mainly the chicas- thought it was enormous. It consisted of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen was up to date on all its appliances, and the living room had a giant flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The sofa was shaped like an "L" and a love seat was placed beside it. Victor and Salvador had helped me with the colors and we settled on black, creamy brown, and some red.
Rebecca had insisted we talk somewhere comfortable so here we are sitting in the living room discussing a topic that she hadn't managed to drop for the last few weeks. Taking a swing from the Jack Daniels bottle I glanced at Rebecca. It seemed as if it was only yesturday that she was scowling at me for tell a girl that I only liked her for her tits. Being a fifteen year old in my family had been a little difficult. The past was in the past thought, right?
"Diego I've met Gabriella before and she is so nice and beautiful," her eyes twinkled with something.
"Are you trying to hook us up?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You can't blame a sista for trying," she muttered.
"Alright I'll meet her."
"But Diego listen-" her eyes widened," Really?"
"Yeah. I mean if you honestly think that she might be girlfriend material then sure why not give a shot."
"De que hablas? What are you talking about?" She looked confused.
"Rebecca I know what you're trying to do." I stated simply.
"And what exactly am I trying to do?" She raised an eyebrow.
