Gabriella's POV
May 3, 2010
"Everything is going to be fine! Will you calm down?" Lanie exclaimed.
I took a few deep breaths trying to calm my pounding heart. I could feel my palms starting to get sticky from the sweat. Lanie handed me a humid towel and quickly I cleaned my hands.
God, this is finally happening!
Today is my wedding day. Finally after being together with Anthony for 5 years we were getting married. By the end of today I am going to be Gabriella Monterey wife of Anthony Monterey. I was so thrilled when he proposed to me on a trip we took to Spain.
He had chosen the most romantic restaurants by the shore and when the sun was setting he got up and knelt on one knee. He had then take out a small black velvet box. Everyone around us were quiet as Anthony had asked me to be his wife. Without even thinking twice I said 'Yes'. Anthony had slipped the beautiful Diamond ring on my finger and kissed me so sweetly, I thought my heart was going to melt. Now 3 months later we were getting married.
"How do I look?" I asked Lanie twirling a little.
"You are one of the most beautiful brides I've seen in years!" She gave me a reassuring smile.
The doors burst open and in walked my father, John Hernandez. His brown hair was slicked back and his matching brown eyes shinned with happiness. He looked handsome in his custom made black suit. Reaching just 6 feet 2 inches my father had all his suits custom made.
Walking towards me he was about to embrace me when Lanie stepped between us. Father gave her a puzzled look but quickly recovered and he looked annoyed.
"Lanie I'm trying to hug my daughter properly before the wedding." He said stiffly.
"Sorry Mr.H but I'm afraid I can't let you touch her right now." Lanie's voice was firm.
"Why not?" Father asked annoyed.
"You might wrinkle the dress, or she could possibly start crying her eyeballs out and then her make-up will be ruined." She explained sincerely.
Father glanced and me briefly showing signs of defeat,"I can't believe my baby girl is getting married."
"Oh Dad!" As fast as I could I passed Lanie and hugged my father tightly. Lanie started protesting but I just hugged my dad.
Shortly my mother walked in and she burst into tears. I tried to hold my own tears in but a few managed to escape, causing Lanie to glare at me. Being the maid of honor and my best friend she quickly fixed my face. Dad and mom left after Lanie lectured them about behaving themselves.
Lanie then busied herself fixing the skirt of my wedding dress. The dress was one of her creations. It was a heartshaped strapless dress that hugged my upper body tightly, where as the skirt flowed freely around my legs. To match the dress I wore a pair of nude Louboutin heels. My brown hair was braid into a bun with a few pieces of hair curling to frame my face. Make-up was as natural looking as possible.
Lanie's dress was a light shade of pink. The dress flowed around her waist and stopped at the knee. She also wore nude Louboutin heels. The others bridesmaids dresses were similar to Lanie's but each had its own style.
Everything started happening so fast. My father came to fetch me and we walked towards the doors of the church. A song started playing and the bridesmaids and the men Anthony chose walked into the church, Lanie followed hand-in-hand with Anthony's best man, Dustin Perradoe. Dad tugged my arm a little and soon I was walking down the aisle.
