This is a short chapter but I'll try to make the next one longer. Enjoy :)

Gabriella's POV

Delivering the news to Diego was a lot more energy consuming than I thought. The good thing was he was okay with me being pregnant. I was excited to be a mother. Emely called and made an appointment for me at the clinic to go get checked and have all the other necessities done.

Diego rushed me to get changed into a simple cream colored dress. It hugged my figure and matched with my earing studs and nude flats, I looked pretty decent. Emely had left without saying anything and Diego didn't seemed bother by it at all. It seemed as if Diego was in a rush for some reason and he quickly ushered me out of the apartment and into the elevator.

Riding in his car always gave me such a thrill that I could only smile throughout the whole entire ride. Diego suddenly pulled over to the side of the road and turned to face me.

"Do you trust me?" He asks.

"Of course I do." I said taken aback.

"Alright then don't freak out." Before I could ask what he ment he placed a blindfold around my eyes.

My heart rate increased and my palms started to become sweaty. Taking deep calming breaths to slow down my heart beat and to simply calm myself down. The car started moving again and I started to get butterflies in my stomach. Adrenaline pumped through my body as the motor roared.

Not even ten minutes later the car slowed to a stop. I had to rely on hearing and touch. Diego's door opened and shut and then my door was opened and the cool afternoon air hit me. Taking my hand in his Diego led the way to who-knows-where. I could hear a door being opened and warm air greeting my cold skin. People were shushing each other and for some reason I found that funny and I let out a giggle that transformed into a full blasted belly laugh. I could feel Diego's hand shaking and I knew he was laughing along with me. Suddenly the blindfold was taken away from my eyes and I blinked serveral times to adjust to the lighting.

As soon as I could see right I saw my parents along with my brother and Diego's family sitting around at different tables. They were all smiling at me as if I had just delievered the greatest news ever. Carmen walked over to me and hugged me strongly.

"Congrats babe. You are going to be a sexy momma!" She laughed playfully at me as she avoided my hits.

"Thanks." I smiled hugely.

I went around to each person and hugged them all. Diego kept close by to me all the time and it didn't bother me what so ever.

Sitting down and enjoying a great meal prepared by Giovanni - Diego's cheff - everyone laughing and joking around. The atmosphere was filled with happiness and laughter. For once since being back I felt truely at home.

Half way through desert Diego stood up. He got everyone's attention and cleared his throat.

"I want to thank everyone for taking the time off and coming to enjoy this family reunion. But there is a reason I closed my restaurant to have this little reunion." He looked down at me and smiled widely. " Today I was given the best news I have recieved in a long time. My beautiful girlfriend informed me that we are going to be parents."

My face became warm with a blush as everyone clapped and whistled. My mother's expression was priceless.

"But there is more to it. I have been thinking about this for a while and I believe the time has come." He paused. Looking down at me again he suddenly looked down at the floor. Thinking he dropped something I looked down also. Seeing nothing I looked up and saw that Diego had gotten down on one knee.

My mind was frozen completely. If someone had come up to me and asked for my name I wouldn't have had any idea.

"Gabriella Hernandez to say that I am in love with you would be a great beginning seeing as how your father looks not so happy about me knocking you up. At the moment though I am the happiest I have been since I met you. When I rescued you, you told me to say the words when you truely needed to hear them, but the thing is that 'I love you' is not enough to describe the way I feel for you. My feelings for you are so strong that sometimes I feel incomplete without you. I'm glad I kind of forced you into the family meeting we had. So in this moment Gabriella I wanted to ask you something super important."

He looked at me in the eyes and I could feel the love radiating from him. My stomach was a jumbled mess and I felt like I was going to loose my dinner from all the emotions I felt.

"Will you marry me?"
