Gabriella's POV
My head felt like a train had ran over it and then a stampeed of bulls stomped on it. Yeah it was pounding that bad. I knew going out with Lanie was a bad idea especially going unsupervised. Mix Lanie, me, and alcoholic drinks and you get some crazy ass bitches.
Opening my eyes I expected to see the coffee colored walls of Lanies condo. Instead I saw a familiar cream colored wall. Looking around the room and trying my best to ignore the pounding in my head I froze on the bed. I was in Diego's room.
What the hell am I doing here?
Fuck I don't even know what happened last night after Lanie and I had our shots.
Lanie! Shit fuck damn it!
Standing up from the bed very carefully I wobbled a little on my feet. I cringed as the pounding in my head worsened. I opened the door and I instantly heard the sound of the TV. I turned back around and headed to the bathroom quickly. I opened the door roughly but I didn't care I could feel the bile rising in my throat. Bending over the toilet I threw up. The bile burned the back of my throat but my stomach kept pushing everything up. I felt a hand on my lower back and I felt my face blush with embarassment.
Nothing was left in my stomach and my throat was burning from the stomach acid. I flushed the toilet and then sat down on the lid. Diego handed me a cup of water. I rinsed my mouth out and then I grabbed Diego's toothbrush and washed my teeth.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
"I'm hungover," I said but it came out more like,"Uhmm fungover."
"What?" He asked obviously confused.
Taking the tooth brush out of my mouth and quickly rinsing my mouth I turned around to face him.
"I said I'm hungover as fuck!"
"Come on I'll make you a coffee," he took my hand and was about to drag me out but I stopped him.
"I need to shower. So while you make me a coffee I'll shower. Can I used some of your clothes?" I explained.
"Yeah go ahead. You know where everything is." He walked out and left me to shower.
Stripping down to nothing I stepped into the shower and let the cold water jolt me awake. Soon the water started to warm up and my muscles relaxed with the warm water. My mind wandered to the day when Lanie asked me if I had told Diego. Maybe it was time that I told Diego. I wanted him to know about everything. I know he didn't know anything or else he would have said something.
It was time to confess.
Diego's POV
I could hear the shower running and I thought about joining Gabriella but then my commen sense kicked in and I thought better of it.
Last night while I was laying Gabriella down she had clung to me and she had whispered things that I never thought I would hear her say. She had pressed herself to me and I had to use all my will power to restrain myself. I did want to make love to her but I wanted to wait until she was sober so she could actually remember.
The smell of coffee hit my nostrils and I finally noticed that the shower wasn't running anymore. I poured a cup of coffee for Gabriella and for myself.
"Diego," I heard from the kitchen entrance.
"Hey, you feel any better?" I handed her a cup.
"A little thank you. Diego, I need to tell you something." She sat on one of the stools by the kitchens island.
"Alright." I sat across from her and waited for her to continue.
"Four years ago....."
