Chapter 12 - Sticky Situation

Diego's POV

As soon as John-Gabriella's dad- sat down I knew something wasn't right. Call me crazy or whatever but it's like one of those moments in movies where the main characters suddenly find out something bad just happened. The only difference was that we weren't in a movie and we sure as hell weren't acting.

"Gabriella, I don't know how to tell you this without you freaking out." John paused.

"Gee dad now I'm really not going to freak out, cause you totally didn't just sound bummed out." Gabriella said sarcastically.

"¡Este no es el momento en el que tienes que estar bromiando!" John exclaimed (This is not the moment in which you need to be joking!).

"¡Pues entonces dime lo que venistes a decir me!" Gabriella basically shouted (Well then tell me what you came to tell me!).

I sat there scared to move a muscle in case they decided to start yelling at me. I've seen enough arguments between my dad and Rebecca or Carmen to know that if I interupted them in any way they would lash out at me and start threatening me. Hispanic women can be very scary if you piss them off enough.

"Gabby your business is not doing so great right now. We need to think of a way to boost your popularity with everyone. The younger crowd is looking for someone different, someone new." John explained.

"Damn." Gabriella sighed.

We fell into silence.

What could benefit Gabriella and her new customers would be able to see how she really is?

"Let's host an event." I suggested.

"What for?" John looked utterly confused.

"For people to see that Gabriella is still out their designing things to make people happy!" I exclaimed.

"Please explain more," Gabriella demanded.

"Okay. Everyone is going crazy over the simple fact that you and I are an item. If we host an event for raising awareness of something everyone is going to be there to see the new 'it' couple. It'll bring attention to what we're raising awareness for and bring you back some business." I finally finished.

I leaned back into the couch and I watched Gabriella and John's expression.

"I like the way you think boy. I'll call my PA and have her set up an event for Saturday." John stood up and straightened his suits jacket.

"Thanks John." I stood up as well so it wouldn't seem rude.

Gabriella and I walked him to the door and before I could close the door John stopped the door with his hand.

"If you want me to be a grandfather keep at it like you are, but if you want to wait then I suggest you start wrapping it before tapping it." With that he turned and walked to the elevator.

Gabriella looked horrified. Her face was so colored it kind of looked like she might be running a fever. She started mumbling something but I didn't understand her.

"¿Que?" (What?).

"My father could tell we had sex without protection. How is that even possible?" She muttered loud enough for me to hear.

"He must have had lots of experience." I smirked down at her and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"You are sick Diego." She playfully smacked my chest.

"But you like it baby girl." I teased.

"You know it!" She laughed.

I released her and she turned and ran towards the room. Smiling I followed her slowly taking my time. By the time I got to the door she was nude and ready for me.

You could say that I had a great night; just not one that involved much sleeping.

A/N

I know it seems like I'm ignoring wattpad and stuff but I'm not. My wifi has been a true arse so I couldn't upload.

I usually don't do this but I will do it. I am planning on starting a new story as soon as I finish Loving Diego. Which will happen in maybe like 10-15 more chapters. It's called From The Dark and it is way different than this story is. But I hope ya'll stick with me through that story too :/
