Gabriella's POV

I could hear the murmur of voices in the other room and I began to panic. These people are professionals they probably know when someone is lying. Diego stood next to me and as if he sensed my discomfort he intertwined our fingers. The warmth of his hand seemed to bring some life back into my fingers. When I get nervous I start to shiver and tremble. My finger tips get really cold and one time I actually threw up. Gross I know, but hey we're only human.

Dad came in and motioned for us to follow him. Walking down the hall I could hear the voices getting louder. Caterpillars seemed to tickling my insides with their tiny feet. My pulse began to quicken and my breathing seemed to have gone haywire. A squeeze in my hand calmed me down.

"Relajate, hermosa. Todo va a estar bien," Diego reasured me (Relax, beautiful. Everything is going to be fine).

"Can you do most of the talking?" I asked nervously.

"Lo que tu quieras," He lifted our conjoined hands and kissed my fingers (Whatever you want).

Walking into the press room I felt like I would start hyperventalating. One would think that after all these years of having to attend events and having my picture taken, I would be used to it. I am, but now it was more personal. Not only were they talking about me but they also included Diego. I like Diego and he's one of the few men that I feel comfortable around.

Taking a deep breathe I mentally prepared myself for a long 20 minutes. Hopefully after a few questions the press would get bored and they would leave us alone. I wanted to ask Diego something really important.

"Miss Hernandez what does your father think of your relationship with Mr.Reyes?" A young female reporter asked.

"Uh.....My father supports my decisions and he trusts me completely." After saying each word I could feel myself becoming more confident.

"Even after the incidents four years ago?" A man asked in the back.

"We are not here to talk about that event. No more questions about that," I said coolly.

"Are you two officially dating?"

"Are you pregnant Gabriella?"

"How long have you been together?"

The questions fired and I could feel all of them looking at me as if awaiting my response. Diego looked as calm as ever. Our hands were still joined and I could feel the caterpillars starting to vanish. My annoyance, though, sky rocketed. I held up my free hand and everyone shut up.

"We will answer your questions one at a time," I heard Diego chuckle softly to himself.

"How long have you been together?" someone asked.

"Well we aren't exactly an item yet." Diego spoke up.

"What do you mean by 'yet'?" I asked a little taken aback.

"Well one day I'm going to ask you to be my girlfriend and you're going to twirl your hair and say 'Of course Diego! I've been waiting all my life for this!'," he looked at me smugly.

"How are you so sure I'll even say yes?" I asked.

"Because so far my charm's worked," He winked at me and a bunch of camera flashes went off.

"Whatever. Next question," I said letting go of Diego's hand and immediately regreting it.

"I have one," Diego spoke up," Gabriella I've known you for a few days but I feel this connection to you. I know this is pretty sudden, but Gabriella," he paused briefly," will you be my girlfriend?"
