And this vodka burns less than the words you told me.
People say we hurt the ones we love
you must have loved me very much.
Tear stained cheeks.
Bright green eyes.
Cracked lips.
Drunken mind.
Heart break
It's not like the Disney stories.
It's breaking down when you get home because you remembered the first kiss.
It's crying in your car wondering why.
It's being on edge looking for you.
It's remembering how beautiful you are and how when your deep brown eyes hit the sunlight it could never compare and it makes you wonder if you'll ever find someone quite like her.
It's going to the grocery store to get one thing and remembering how we talked about baking cookies and brownies and wanting to break down right then and there.
But this vodka burns less than the words you told me.
You told me that you liked him
You told me you wanted him.
So yes this vodka burns less than the words you told me.
It burns less than the pain you caused me.
It burns less than the feelings I hide.
Heart break is not like the Disney movies
It's kicking,
screaming,
praying,
yelling,
punching,
crying,
and fighting.
Heart break is no Disney movie.
Heart break burns.
People say we hurt the ones we love,
well you must have really loved me.~Alexis Celine
