I wonder what the root of happiness is?
It's different for everyone.
It's feeling the warmth and comfort when you pull the sheets closer.
It's the feeling of light seeping through the blinds filling the room with color.
It's the feeling of raindrops kissing your skin ever so gently.
The root of happiness,
The pink in your cheeks
Almost like peptobismol,
You've got peptobismol cheeks.
I wonder if that's only when I'm around.
Maybe I'm delusional
Is that true?
Maybe that's the root of my happiness.
The pink in your cheeks
I must be doing something right.
The root of happiness.
Everyone searches for it,
But mine is you.
So I'll do what I have to do to keep that smile on your face
And the pink in your cheeks
It's peptobismol baby
