Chapter 13

Melissa's POV

After Leon's huge confession, we had decided to talk and start off as friends again. Strip back to the basics.

I was in the lunch hall, sat by my self, when suddenly a voice bellowed.

"Hey nerd, come sit next to me"

The whole school turned to face me I to turned around to find Leon calling me.

I picked up my lunch and went to sit next to him. He was smirking at me, when he said,

"Lets go some where, just the two of us."

"But..were in school and its only 3rd."

He scoffed, looking at me with his dazzling eyes.

"I case you didn't know by now I'm a rule breaker Melissa. And I'm in the mood to break some rules"

Could his ego get any bigger? Hmm, probably not

"Okay then Leon, where do you want to go?

He looked at me then took my hand.

" Leon where are we, let me open my eyes."

"Patience Melissa Summers, Patience"

"Oh shut up, I can here the goddamn smirk in your voice and I haven't even got my eyes open"

"You love me for it though". He replied and I gasped. Out loud.

I opened my eyes and finally took in the beautiful horizon in front of me. The green grass danced and the Sky was all shades, from purple and orange to blue and pink. It was beautiful.

I gasped at him and literally threw myself on top of him.

"You like it" He laughed.

"Like it, Leon I love it".

And I didn't even know it but I found him staring at me. With that look in his eyes again. Oh Leon what have you done to me?

Leon's POV

"What?" she giggled

"Nothing"

"Leon..." she warned.

"Melissa...."

I seized her by the waist and tackled her onto the ground whilst she screamed and laughed. God, this girl!

We just stayed like that whilst we gazed into each other's eyes. Me on top of her, holding my own weight with my arms before I literally collapsed on her.

"Your beautiful, you know that right?"

She pushed me off, sighing whilst she sat up. She pointed her finger at me

"Friends, Leon"

I held my hands up in defeat.

"Friends"

"But your still beautiful" she smiled whilst she mumbled what am I going to do with you. She thought I didn't hear but I did.

"You know your the first person I've ever took here, I usually come here when things get to much and I just look at the sky. It really is beautiful, isn't it."

"It really is"

I smirked

"Just like you"

"Leon! Friends"

"You love me for it" I said again and she gasped. Out loud. Again.

"Sorry, I keep saying that, I don't mean.." I rambled.

God Leon get your shit together.

Suddenly, she put her finger on my lips, silencing me and her other hand found mine, in twining our fingers. Then she sat on my lap, her legs around me, looking me dead in the eyes.

Well, that was a surprise

" Do you know what, yes, I do, I really do love you for it"

I knew she would finally admit it and it made me feel special...

HI guysss. I'm back. I know I took a really big break and this chapter was not that good but I am just getting back into the swing of  things. I cannot thank all of you enough for being on my journey and we are at 300 reads!! Yessss. Finally.
