"Wait so if you weren't dating Calum why'd you get so upset?" Luke asked. We were all sitting in a circle talking about what happened tonight since Calum wasn't around.
"Because he told me he really liked me the other day and he was one of my best friends. I thought best friends were supposed to stay true to each other." I said.
"Maggie it might've been because he was drunk." Ashton said.
"He would've still had feelings, Ash." Michael said.
I got a call from Calum. It went to voicemail.
"All I know is I'm done with Calum Hood and his games." I said.
"Me too. " The boys said.
And from that day forward we never spoke to Calum Hood again.
That is until a year later......
"Maggie, are you going to eat that?" Luke asked.
"No. Go ahead." I said and he took half of my sand which off my plate.
"We have 5 minutes until lunch ends someone please help me!" Michael said.
"With what?" I asked.
"I am supposed to find the meaning of the book Beautiful Creatures." He said.
"It's supposed to symbolize that Ethan and Lena's love is stronger than Dark powers and a family curse and whether or not they are the same species. Their love can overcome any obstacle in the way of their relationship." I said.
"THANK YOU MAGGIE I FREAKING LOVE YOU!" He said and quickly scribbled down what I said.
"I love you more though." Luke said kissing my forehead.
"Hey you're coming over tomorrow right? It's our one year." I said.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world." He said as the bell rang.
We went back to class and Ms. Dawn had a list of names on the board.
"Ok everyone. If your name is on this board you get to pick your partner for the writing project on the simple things in life. So if your name is on the board then come to the front and pick your partner." She said.
I saw Mallory, Lexi, Allie, Alec, Beth, Justin, Danny, and Calum go up.
"Danny go first." Ms. Dawn said.
"Luke." He said.
"Calum you're next." Ms.Dawn said. Calum looked right at me.
"Maggie." Was all I heard.
This is just awesome.
