Ashton dropped Calum and I off at my house.
"Call if you need anything. And mags, I'm really sorry about Luke." He said.
"It's not your fault. And thanks, Ash." I said and got out and went and unlocked the door.
My dad was on a work trip so I was alone. Well besides Calum.
"Do you want anything to drink or eat?" I asked.
He shakes his head.
"Ok well I'm going to go get my laptop. Make yourself at home." I said.
I got my laptop and went back downstairs to see Calum sitting on my couch on his phone.
I sat down next to him and got on my laptop and went on twitter.
"People are already tweeting about it. Great. " I said. "Look what they're saying about you. People are mad at you when Luke cheated on me!!" I said.
"Mags don't worry about it. Don't worry about me." He said.
"Calum they're wrong about you" I said.
"it doesn't matter what they think of me. Why would I care what they think? I only care about my friends and family and what they think of me." He said.
"I guess that's a good thing." I said. He nodded.
"Why were you with him after he turned into a jerk?" Calum asked.
I was silent for a minute.
"I don't know. I guess I thought he would still be the same Luke after all. I don't know what I was thinking. I just can't believe he turned into one of those guys who cheats on their girlfriend and stuff. This isn't the Luke that I used to like." I said.
" I'm really sorry Maggie. You don't deserve this." he said and hugged me.
I wrapped my arms around his torso and cuddled into him.
He held me tighter.
"Thanks Calum."
It was silent. Not awkward silent. But a nice silent.
The way he held me didn't feel different or wrong. You know how a situation like this may feel wrong, well this didn't. This felt right. Like it belonged.
Like I belonged in his arms forever.
And that's when I finally admitted to myself that I love Calum Hood.
