I walked out of class with Luke and we were walking down the hall when someone called my name. I turned around to see Calum coming towards us.

"You don't have to talk to him." Luke whispered in my ear.

"I have to do it sometime. Might as well be now." I said back and Calum finally got to where we were.

"Hey. So I was thinking we could talk about our project tomorrow after school." He said.

"I have something at 5 tomorrow so we can before that." I said.

"Ok sounds good. You can just walk home with me tomorrow and then we can talk at my house." He said.

"Ok." I said.

"Well I guess I will see you tomorrow. I'm glad we are actually talking now." He said.

"Yeah. I'll see ya later." I said and Luke and I walked away.

"I can't believe he chose you to be his partner. If this is his way of trying to get you back it's not going to work beca-" Luke was ranting.

"Luke stop. It's a project. Not a marriage proposal." I said

"I know but still. Make sure it's clear you have the best boyfriend in the entire world." He said throwing me over his shoulder and walked me to Ashton's car. Michael and Ashton were already in the car.

Luke put me down and we got in the car and told the other boys about Calum.

As we pulled into my drive way we saw my dads car.

"Well bye Mags." They said and I got out. I waved as they pulled out of my drive way and I went inside.

"Dad?" I yelled as I put my stuff down.

"In my office." He said. I went up to his office and knocked on the door that was half way open.

"Hey dad. What are you up to?" I asked and sat down in the chair in front of his desk across from him.

"Working." He said.

"Seriously." I said.

"I'm sorry I haven't been the best dad lately but in trying." He said.

"Dad it's fine." I said.

"I'm going to be working around here tomorrow. Do you want to go out for dinner?" He asked.

"I can't. I have to work on a project." I said.

"Oh good job babes. You're grades are awesome. Keep it up. " He said.

"Thanks dad." I said.

"I have to take a conference call so good night mags." He said.

"Night dad." I said and went to my room.
