"I'm moving." Were the words that made his million dollar smile fade.
"What?" He asked. We were at the park and I had been thinking about it for a long time.
"I'm moving to America. My dad has another house there." I explained
"No you can't!" He said a bit too loud.
"Calum, calm down. We can still talk and Skype and stuff." I told him.
"Maggie! We are going to be across the globe from each other!" He yelled.
I got up.
"I'm sorry. But I just can't do this." I told him and started walking away.
"Mags. Maggie wait." He called after me.
I stopped and turned around to face him a yard or so away from me.
"What do you want me to say, Calum! You're not going to change my mind. I'm miserable here. I hate it. Yeah I'm going to miss a lot about this place but I have to learn to accept it. We can still visit each other, but me here, isn't going to work. I can't do it anymore. Plus you guys are going to get famous you were going to leave me anyway." I said.
"Maggie, you can't go. You can't go because I love you and if you leave it will kill me. You are the reason I get through the day. When you were mad at me and weren't talking to me, that was the worst. I wanted to punch myself in the gut every time I saw you because it reminded me of us not being friends. I killed me Mags. You can't leave." He replied.
"If you really love me, you'll let me go." I said quieter.
"Don't feed me that crap. We both know you're going to go to America and meet a guy and it will end up just like what happened with you and Luke, except this time I won't be there to help you!" He yelled.
That made me lose it. Tears poured down my face.
"Whatever, Calum. Don't bother calling or texting. But remember me when you're famous. And I'll say I told you so." I said turning away and wiping my tear and running away.
That was it. That was the end. Or so I thought....
