Sneak: Calum Hood

Chapter: 3

After I punched Luke in the balls we all sat down in the living room in the basement.

"Let's do something guys!" Calum said. Just then I got a text from my sister.

Kaitlyn: hey mags, will you come babysit? It's an emergency.

Me: yeah. I'll be over in like 10." I text back and slide my phone into my back pocket.

"Well whatever you're doing you're doing it without me. I have to babysit my nephew and nieces." I said.

"Maggie don't gooo!" Luke whined.

"Yeah don't leave me with these crazy people!!" Michael said

"Do you need help? We can entertain the kids." Calum said.

"I don't want to bother you guys." I tell them. They give me a look like 'really'

"Ash will you please take me?" I asked and Ashton nodded

"We'll ride along with you." Like said. I rolled my eyes.

---------- 2 hours later----------

We had been at my sisters for a few hours. The kids love the boys. They've met before.

"Wuke!" Axel yelled at Luke for taking one of his fruit loops.

"Luke, stop taking food from a 3 year old." Ashton scolded him.

Annabelle was sitting on my lap and telling Calum, who was sitting next to us, about her trip to the zoo.

"And then we saw the giraffes with the big huge long necks and there was a baby one and a mommy and daddy." Annabelle told Calum.

Calum had an excited expression on his face, like hearing about Anna's trip to the zoo was the highlight of his year.

"You know auntie M's favorite animal is a giraffe." Calum stated.

"Yeah. I already knew that, Cally." Annabelle sassed Calum.

"Someone's a sassy little 7 year old." I tell her.

"I'm hungry, Auntie." Anna complains.

"Ok, I'll go get you something to eat. Mommy said she'd bring you food home though. So this is a snack." I said and picked her up, put her on calums lap and went to the kitchen.

I check on Michael, Luke and Ash with Axel in his high chair having fruit loops. It was just easier instead of chasing him everywhere.

I grabbed a yogurt for Annabelle.

I stopped in the doorway of the living room and watched Calum with Anna.

"Are you dating my auntie?" She asked him.

He smiles. "No."

"Oh. Are you guys married?" She asked

He laughs a little. "Nope. She's my best friend in the entire world."

"Do you love her like daddy loves mommy?" Annabelle kept asking Calum questions.

He thought for a minute. "Yeah. I do. But that's our secret."

"Ok cally. Pinky promise. I won't tell anyone." Annabelle said and stuck out her pinky and Calum did the same and wrapped their pinkies around each other.

"What's your favorite animal?" Annabelle asked him.

"Probably-" he stopped talking when i walked in and handed Anna her yogurt.

"Thank you." She said.

I smiled. "You're welcome. What did I miss?"

As Calum was tell me how they were still talking about the zoo my sister walked in.

"I'm home!" She yelled. We got up and greeted her.

"Thank you so much for watching them. You saved me. They were having problems at work and Brandon is working nights now." She explained.

We nodded.

We said bye to the kids and left.
