I woke up to people arguing outside My room.
When I came back to the house my mom wasn't there. I shrugged and went to my room. Apparently I fell asleep.
they were whisper yelling.

"She needs me right now." A voice that I made out to be my dads said.

"She needs a parent who is there for her." A woman-my mother retorted.

"I am here for her. I've given her anything she wanted and I love her."He told her.
She took a deep breath.
"She needs more than material love!" She spat at him.
She knocked on her door and I turned to face the door where she was.

I walk out of my room to where my parents were.

"Mags." My dad said. I embraced him in a hug.

"Hi dad. Can you please make mom leave. I don't want her here." I told him.

She looks at me wide eyed.

"Jen, it's time for you to leave." My dad told her. My mom snapped something back but I spaced out. They started fighting again
I grabbed my phone and my bag and left.

I ended up at calums. I knocked and he answered. I just started crying. He held me in his arms in the door way of his house.

"Please let me help you. I'll do anything." He whispered in my ear.
"Just take my mind off it. "I pleaded.
"What do you want to do?" He asked. Still hugging me.
"Let's go ice skating." I offered.
He nodded.

So Calum and I went to the ice skating rink and found out we were terrible ice skaters.

We both fell on our butts plenty of times and laughed about it.

He held my hand so we could balance each other and I realized he is my balance. In reality. He is the one to help me. He is the one to steady me. And I fell in love with Calum Hood over again every time I saw him. Each time Id fall a little harder for him,and frankly, I was ok with that.
