I walked into Luke's house a few hours after what happened with Calum.
I went up to Lukes room and saw him sitting in front of his bed playing video games.
"Hey Lucas." I said.
"Hello. Mikey said he should be over any minute." He said.
"Ok" I said and I watched Luke play video games until Michael came in.
"Hey guys." He said and plugged in a controller.
"Hey. " Luke and I both said.
"Ash said he's picking up Cal then he will be over." Michael said.
"OK." Luke said.
Michael looked up at me and nodded toward the door. We both got up and Michael told Luke we would be back in a few minutes.
We walked outside and started walking down Luke's street.
"So I don't know if you heard that tone in Lukes voice when I said Calum was coming over, but last night Calum told us he liked you. And Luke has liked you since we were in 6th grade. So Luke got mad at Calum and there is a bunch of tension between them right now. But don't tell them I told you." Michael said.
"Wait Luke has liked me for that long?" I asked
"Yep. And everyone knows it. You're just blind. Calum has liked you since like a few months ago. It again was obvious to everyone. Even Luke he just didn't want to start anything unless he knew for sure." He said.
I stayed silent for a minute. We stopped at the stop sign and Ashton's car pulled next to us.
"You guys want a ride back?" Ashton asked.
Michael and I agreed and climbed in back. It was a quiet ride back to Lukes and we all got out and went inside to see Luke in the kitchen getting out hot dog stuff and s'more stuff.
"Whatcha doin Luke?" I asked. And he looked up and smiled at me.
"I'm getting food ready because mom said we should have a Bon fire and I liked the idea." Luke said.
"Well I like the idea also." I said and Luke smiled.
"So what have you guys been doing before you came?" Ashton asked.
"I re-dyed my hair pink." Michael said.
"I played COD" Luke said.
"I didn't really do anything." I said.
"I ran to the grocery store for my mom." Calum said.
"Calum where'd you head off to last night? I came back to get my jacket and you weren't there. You're mom just said you were out" Luke said.
"I had to drop something off at Alex's." The lie came so easy like he'd practiced what he said.
"Oh. Ok." Was all Luke said. And we headed outside to the Bon Fire.
