"Eun. Do I look strange?" I asked my best friend as she lay on my bed eating a bag of chips.

"You look absolutely fine! Stop stressing. It's your first day, they're not going to fire you for walking in looking pretty." She scoffed, casually wiping her oily fingers on my duvet.

I shot her a motherly glare and Eun smiled childishly.

"Sorry," She mumbled happily before reaching her hand back into the packet.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around to look at myself in the mirror. I was proud of myself as my slim figure stared back at me. I was wearing a fitted, high waisted pencil skirt paired alongside a tight white blouse with flared sleeves and black heels.

"You look like a sexy beast, all the guys at your job are really going to be drooling over you!" Eun called, winking at me through my reflection. I shook my head and covered my face in embarrassment.

"Don't say things like that," I said through the holes in between my fingers.

"I don't know how your innocent self is ever going to make it through the world, Y/n." Eun snorted, shaking her head as she watched me flush.

"I'll be fine," I grumbled, but Eun just chuckled to herself.

"You'd better get going though. It's nearly 12." She said, holding up her phone to display the time.

11:48 AM.

Shit.

My hair billowed behind me as I hurried into the building. I scanned the temporary employee card I'd been given and quickly hurried to the 7th floor. That's where I would be 'initiated' into the company.

"Are you Mrs Kang?" Someone asked me suddenly, tapping on my shoulder the moment I walked out of the elevator. I glanced up to see a tall, attractive man towering over me.

"Y-yes, but-t'." I stuttered as he stared at me.

"Oh thank god." He sighed, grabbing my arm and tugging me towards a nearby desk.

"Here are the files. Send them to HR, and get this page signed by Hoseo- sorry, Mr Jung. Then deliver it straight to Mr Jeon on floor 13." The man said, stacking folder after folder into my arms. I strained under the weight, trying my best to memorize the instructions he was giving me.

"Y-yes," I repeated, and the man nodded.

"Good, thanks, Mrs Kang. I appreciate you being so open to helping me." He sighed in relief, pointing me in the direction of the elevators.

I didn't even know the man's name, but the way he commanded me to do everything carefully, I didn't bother questioning it as I gave him a small bow and hurried to the elevators.

As I staggered into the elevator, I nearly bumped into a red-headed man.

"Miss! Are you okay? Do you need help? These need to be delivered to HR right? I'll do that, I'm headed there just now." He said to me, immediately taking a few folders away from my arms to reveal my face, hidden behind them.

"O-oh. Thank you!" I huffed, and he grinned at me. "No problem, I'm Jimin. Park Jimin. I don't think I've seen you around before." He said, his smile still large as he introduced himself. "I'm Kang Y/n," I mumbled, looking up at him shyly.

He wasn't as tall as the first man I'd met, but Jimin still towered over me intimidatingly. "What a pretty name!" He exclaimed, giving me a cheeky wink. "Oh! T-thank you!" I mumbled flusteredly as I tried to hide my blushing face away from his intense gaze. "I s-should get these to Mr Hoseok...thank you for h-helping me," I said quietly as the elevator came to a halt on the 12th floor. "Have fun, Y/n!" Jimin called to me as I stumbled out of the elevator, my cheeks still blushing. I gave him a small smile and hurried to the layout of desks.

I scanned each desk template, going from desk to desk reading the unfamiliar names until one read, H. Jung. I stopped in front of it and looked up to see a young, dark-haired man typing away furiously. I cleared my throat softly and he glanced up to take a better take at me from over his wire frame glasses. "Can I help you?" He asked me, not breaking eye contact. "U-uhm. I was told to get this signed b-by you." I said, timidly holding out the neatly written form.

"Aish. Taehyung's got random people running his errands for him again." Mr Jung swore under breath, taking the folder from me. "What's your name, Darling?" The man asked me, shaking his head. "Kang Y/n," I answered quietly, and Mr Jung chuckled in disbelief.

"You're the new employee, no?" He asked me and I nodded in response. "Darling, you're not supposed to be running errands for just anyone. Are you aware of that?" Mr Jung asked, resting his chin on his hands as he kept talking to me.

"Oh, I..." I stuttered, flustered by him calling me darling. "You're Mr Jeon's personal assistant...Not Taehyung's. Although you might as well be because you're officially...13 minutes late and I'm sorry to say, but Mr Jeon doesn't appreciate tardy people." He sighed, checking his watch nonchalantly.

"W-what? B-but I was told to-" I protested in shock. "I'd run if I were you. Wouldn't want to get fired on my first day." Mr Jung said with a small smile, as he cocked his head cutely to one side.
