"Eun? I'm home," I called out as I locked the door behind me. No one responded, but I could hear soft voices from the other room"Eun?"

"Hello?" I called out again, now walking towards the source of the noise. As I turned the corner it was to my surprise to see Eun sitting next to a man on the couch. His back was to me and I couldn't make out who he was. "Who's this?"

"Y/n, you're home..." Eun exclaimed, her voice trailing off as the man stood up and turned to me. It didn't come as a surprise to see none other than Kim Seokjin sitting on my couch.

"Uhm, Jin dropped by to check on you," Eun said, scratching the back of her head as Jin stared at me earnestly. He seemed to be looking for something in my facial expression. Eun glanced between the two of us before heading to her room, "I'll give you two your space,"

"Why are you here?" I asked the moment Eun was out of earshot. Jin gestured at the couch, as if asking me to sit down.

"I wanted to see if you were okay," Jin shrugged, taking a seat next to me. "Jungkook called me, and said he kicked you out,"

"Mhm," I mumbled, taking a cushion into my lap before picking at the embroidery. "Tends to happen when you hook up with someone you shouldn't have hooked up with,"

"He didn't say you guys hooked up, but thanks for the visual," Jin chuckled. I glanced up at him as I felt a rush of blood make it to my cheeks. "You really went for him, though? Come on, Y/n, I'm right here. You're breaking my heart."

"Don't you have a thing for Eun?" I asked, hitting him with the pillow.

"We're not together," he argued, earning another smack. I was about to go in for another hit when he grabbed my wrist. "But seriously, I think it's important that you learned something about my brother."

"Whatever," I muttered, pulling away from him. The heat that raced through my body as he held me did not go unnoticed though, but it only made me feel worse.

It was almost as if after being rejected by one brother, I was moving onto another, all while knowing my friend was crushing on him.

"Jungkook's past...it's complicated. I don't think it's my place to say anything but you should know, he's not one for relationships." Jin explained, breaking me from my thoughts. I could tell he was taking the time to carefully calculate his words.

"He was hurt by someone he thought would never hurt him, and after that, I've seen the man tear through more women than I've ever thought possible. That's pretty impressive, especially when coming from me. " He continued.

"Wow. You're really making me feel better," I snapped, but it would be a lie if I said I didn't want to know about the woman who ruined Jeon Jungkook's piece of mind.

"I'm just saying, everything he does. Take it with a pinch of salt. He's not completely over her, and I think it's going to be a while before he ever does...I know I'm not at the top of your 'trusted-friends' list, but I don't want to see you get hurt."

"Well, it's a little late for that," I laughed humourlessly. "I told him he'd think it was a mistake, but he said he'd never regret it,"

"No, I don't think he regrets it. I just think you remind him of her," Jin shrugged, now taking a moment to study my face.

"He started crying. I'm pretty sure he regrets it." I said, meeting his eyes timidly.

"He cried in front of you?" Jin asked incredulously, when I nodded the man began to chuckle and shake his head. "You must really be something Ms Kang, I've rarely see him cry."
