Taehyung's POV

Being the head of the library is no easy feat.

"Yah! Park Ji Yu! Get that invoice signed by the headmaster within this week and process the books! How many times do I need to remind you?" I scolded but received an exasperated sigh in return.

"Yeah, yeah... Just give me a minute." She said and buried her face more into her fiction book.

It's always me who keeps cleaning up their mess.

"Hey librarians! What did I say about 'No eating' in the library?" I began to yell as I entered the library after school only to find my juniors going against the rules.

"The most you can do is at least clean up the mess you guys have made. Is it really that HARD?" I nagged but they couldn't care any less.

I know I can easily resign from my position, but I can't just leave the library in this state.

"Hey! Go and arrange the books. Who else is going to do it if not the librarians?!" I nagged for some more, but they ignored me and continued doing their own work.

HOW THE FUCK DID THEY BECOME A FUCKING LIBRARIAN?

"Chill, hyung... it's only half past one, we'll do it later. Besides, we know that you'll do everything for us." They muttered the last line and I fking snapped.

Fine then, let's see what's going to happen if I stop coming to the library. Even if it means abandoning my responsibilities for just a few days, I'll show them that without me, they're doomed.

Third-person's POV

Two days later

"Tae... I still think you should stop trying for the library." Jungkook took a sip of his drink and held Tae's hand firmly as they walked alongside down the school corridor.

"But..." Taehyung pouted, his head hanging low in disappointment. Jungkook stopped in his tracks and faced his boyfriend.

"Taehyung... I'm honestly worried about you. No one there listens to you. Even the fucking school librarian (librarian teacher) doesn't give a damn about the library." Jungkook continued and threw the now empty packet drink to the ground in anger but picked it up anyways because he hates littering.

Jungkook literally HATES seeing the love of his life being MISTREATED and what he HATES even more is when he found out that HIS boyfriend has a MILD depression over the fucking LIBRARY.

In conclusion, Jungkook detests the library.

"Okay Kookie... I will." Taehyung muttered in such a soft tone and Jungkook perked at his words, "maybe I should quit after all. I mean, you're right. None of my efforts were appreciated. Any more and I might have another break down..." Taehyung let go of their intertwined hands and his arms found their way around Jungkook's waist.

Jungkook returned the gesture by placing his hands on his petite hip and squeezing it; earning a soft moan from his love.

"Really? I was being serious~" Taehyung pouted even more and Jungkook cooed at this.

"My heart doesn't feel nice when I see you all down and gloomy. I thought I should, you know, liven up the mood." Jungkook gave another squeeze at his butt and Taehyung playfully smacked him in the shoulder; blushing madly.

"Jeez, I hate you so much!" Taehyung stomped away quickly but Jungkook immediately caught up to him and hugged him from the back, "Aww, where do you think you're going, hmm? You can't escape from me."

"Kookie~ You're going to be late for your basketball practice..." Tae said as he covered his face in embarrassment and also to hide his blushing face from being teased for it.

I mean, he loves being teased though. He loves attention especially from his flirty boyfriend. But still, he's not like one of those who always says, 'Oh, I can't live without my boyfriend or I can't live a day without seeing him.' Taehyung can easily spend his time watching movies or play his favourite games when Jungkook's busy with his school work or whatsoever.

"For you, I don't mind being late. Also, the most I can get for being late is to run a few more laps around the field. What a piece of cake." Jungkook gave a peck on his neck and Taehyung squirmed at the contact because they both know that that was one of Tae's sensitive spot.

"Kookie~! You should go though. I need to go to the library and finalise some things." Jungkook lets go and gave him a wide smile, "I'm expecting some good news then. You better leave that dumb place."

"Hey! The library isn't a dumb place! It's just that the librarians are the ones who are making it look like one." Tae defended, and Kook walked away, defeated.

"Whatever you say, baby boy. I'll get going now. See you later <3 " he made a heart sign and blew him a kiss; finally walking away, leaving his blushing boyfriend.

'And now, let's head to the library.' Taehyung sighed and walked off as well.
