SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Taehyung's POV

"FINE! I'LL LEAVE IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT." I sobbed as I harshly threw my books into my backpack. "YOU NEVER NEEDED ME ANYWAYS!"

My heart hurts so much right now. He never cared about me. He doesn't see how much I love him. IT WAS ALL ONE SIDED!

"I never said that! I just have too much to worry about to even have time to think about you. Why can't you understand?" Jungkook flared and stopped me from exiting his room.

"Why can't I understand? KOOKIE! I HAVE MY ASSIGNMENTS TO DO TOO!"

"THEN WORK ON THEM INSTEAD OF TEXTING ME!"

"That's exactly the problem, Kookie... You never give me enough attention." My shoulders dropped in disappointment.

"I've already warned you since the day we started dated or even before we got together. I'm very needy and that I want all your love and attention. Why can't you understand me too?" I shoved him aside, but he held me back.

"You're going to regret once you step out of this room. Please don't do this."

I gently put down his arm and stared into his eyes with my wet ones.

"Taehyungie?"

"Regret? Me? When was the last time you ever said you love me?" my eyes twitched out of anger, "NO, IT'S YOU WHO'S GOING TO REGRET ONCE I'M OUT OF YOUR LIFE. JUST FUCK OFF." I stomped out.

"DON'T COME BACK THEN! I CAN DO JUST FINE WITHOUT YOU!"

And those were the last words I ever heard from Jungkook after I've left his house to Jimin's ... not until he begged for forgiveness hours later, but we'll get to that later.

Jungkook's POV

'Did we just... break up?' I realised once I've calmed down.

'No, no, no. He only went home. He didn't declare on breaking up with me. But I even yelled that I'll do fine without him.'

"FUCK!" I slammed my fist against the wall.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKKK! WHAT HAVE I DONE? I CAN'T LOSE HIM."

I ran my hands through my hair, dishevelling it out of frustration, "how many times have I told myself to not lose my temper like that and that we'll talk like mature adults? But it's not entirely my fault. He should understand that I'm a fully working adult and I have so much on my hands. Why is it so hard to make a relationship work?"

"What is it that I've done?"

'That's exactly the problem, Kookie! You never give me enough attention.'

"What are you even saying, Tae-ah? I gave you plenty of my attention. I even bought you so many gifts."

'What is he on about?' I thought hard.

Without further ado, I turned my phone on and went to our conversation.
