Taehyung's POV

"Soooo, who was that guy you were with?" Jungkook asked quietly; his eyes roaming around and not meeting mine.

HhMmMmm...suspicious.

"Which guy? The one who waved at me? There's one who returned my notes. Him? Or the one..."

"The guy with the bicycle." He chipped in.

"Oh him?"

Flashback

School was done and I was chatting with Jungkook while he was waiting for his friends.

He has his own group of friends. Three guys and one girl, Seri.

Frankly speaking, I'm jealous of the Seri because she looks visibly close with Jungkook unlike the other three. Clingy wouldn't be the right term. Well, that's because she's always been that way with everyone else and I can't blame her friendly nature. That's just how she is. I wish I could be friends with her too.

However, she could be a love rival too since Jungkook's bi.

I sulked on the inside. Why can't I be as chatty as her or be as bright as her?

"Earth to Taeeee. Are you even listening to me?" Jungkook waved his hand before my eyes and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"S-sorry, I was thinking about something else."

"Whatttt? You were thinking or something else but not me???" He pouted.

My heart fluttered at the sight and I stuttered at my words, "w-w-what are y-you talking about?"

"Just kidding. You're cute, stammering like that." He giggled.

Minutes later, they finally came.

"KOOKIE! WE'RE FINALLY HERE." she shouted from afar.

"Seems like they're here." He said and they caught up to us.

They chatted away and I felt...

so left out. Nothing unusual. I try my best to join in their conversations but every time I tried, it gets harder and harder.

Getting fed up, I began to walk away because I have no reason to be there.

"Then, I'll be going now." I spoke softly, not sure if he's heard me but still, I walked away.

Feeling dejected.

While doing so, I felt a few taps on mu shoulder. Hoping it was Jungkook, I faced to the person but only to feel more dejected as it was my fellow schoolmate who's been with me since middle school but high school kind of made us distant.

Being in different classes and making new friends tend to break old friendships, I guess.

"Hey, Tae. Where are you heading?" he got off his bicycle and walked the same pace as me.

"Hi, Jimin! I'm heading to the bookstore. What about you?" I smiled genuinely. We haven't been catching up with each other.

"I'm going to meet with my friends later. Wanna join us after your trip to the bookstore?"

"Maybe some other days, I have to babysit my little sister after that." I sighed. Can't believe I'm missing this opportunity to make more friends.

And so, we chatted and chatted. He told me he recently got into his first relationship with his boyfriend, Min Yoongi who's two years older than us.

"You know what, let's meet tomorrow, I wanna tell you everything about my boyfriend and what I'm doing and stuff alright?"

I nodded and I'm actually very happy for him. "Let's meet at Coffee Bean at 3. See you!" I waved at him and he rode away.

Jungkook's POV

After my friends have arrived, I greeted them and wanted to introduce Tae to them, but it seemed like I got too carried away and didn't notice that he was walking away.

I'm not sure whether they know about him but I'm still gonna do it. He did mention he wants to make new friends. Either way, I just want to spend some more time with him.

Happy with that idea, I turned and saw him walking away. I wanted to call him back, but I saw someone riding his bicycle to him and Tae began to smile really brightly.

He rarely smiles when he's with me. Gosh, does he not like me?

Am I that unbearable to be with?

Anyways, who's that shorty and what relationship does he have with my Tae? I mean, he's not mine yet but still!

Most importantly, does Tae like him?

Fkkkk, I'm so jealous.

Flashback ends

Taehyung's POV

"Oh him? We go to middle school together. We were really close but ever since we've both entered high school, we haven't gotten the chance to hang out together." I explained.

I wonder if he's jealous though, "why do you ask?"

"Nothing... I was curious is all."

Sureeeee.

"So, do you like him? He looks like a cool guy. You should watch out of him you know." Jungkook started to nag me and I found him hella cute.

"Hey, what's so funny? I'm really worried about you."

"Do I like him, you ask?" I asked and he nodded eagerly.

"I wonder." I smiled and walked away further.

He's super fun to tease with.

"YA ANSWER MEEE!"
