Confession

^Jungkook & Taehyung - 17 y/o

Third person's POV

"Guys, I'm bored. Let's play the confession game." Taehyung declared out of boredom to his group of friends (Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Jungkook)

"Yeah, let's do that." Jungkook joined in, having a plan in mind to confess his love for his friend, Taehyung.

Let's just say that Taehyung and Jungkook are the most popular ones in class. They help those in need of support and they were also voted as the best couple.

It is plain obvious for others to notice that Jungkook has a thing for Taehyung, but they kept quiet about it just so both of them can sort things out by themselves. I mean Taehyung already knows that he has fallen head over heels for Jungkook, but he just doesn't know when the right time is to confess. Like will Jungkook like him back? What if the feelings are not mutual. Then this would lead to a broken friendship.

"Okay, I'll start first..." Jimin stood up with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.

"Taehy-"

He was cut off when their biology teacher has entered the classroom.

"Alright! Get back to your own seats, students." Mr. Kim said and started to write something on the board.

"What? We were just about to have some fun..." Jimin whined but eventually goes back to his seat. Same goes for everyone.

'This suck.' Taehyung sighed.

Out of nowhere, a small folded paper landed on his table. 'What even?'

Curious, he unfolded it and read the paper.

'Taehyung, I've been watching you ever since the beginning of school year. Please go out with me. -Bogum.'

"Bitch..." Taehyung cursed under his breath and set the paper aside, ignoring it.

Bogum is his classmate who sits behind him. Rumour has it that- fuck the rumour. Bogum's a fuckboy and loves to play with people's feelings. He's a narcissist who thinks so highly of himself and Taehyung despises him a lot.

'Why would he even like me? I mean it's Bogum, the fucking playboy. I had tried my best not to be involved with him but now he likes me? GAHH. Why meee?!' Taehyung mentally banged his head on a wall; cursing gibberish.

Bogum saw how Taehyung decided to set his paper aside and he wouldn't have it.

'Fine, Taehyung. I'll just announce it publicly.' He grinned evilly.

"Attention everyone. Attention!" Bogum stood up and clapped for everyone's attention.

"I, Park Bo Gum, have a confession to make and this one is for Taehyung, my darling." Taehyung's thoughts got interrupted by his sudden outburst.

Everyone had their eyes fixed on Bogum and Taehyung's jaw literally dropped. Taehyung turned around and searched for Jungkook who's sitting way back of the classroom; wondering what's his reaction to this scenario.

He looked extremely pissed off.

Well, fuck.

'Okay, how do I react to this? Everyone's staring. What should I do?' Taehyung mused deeply.

"PARK BO GUM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING INTERRUPTING MY LESSONS?!" Mr. Kim slammed his thick reference book onto the table, startling everyone, "SIT DOWN!"

"Kim Taehyung, my soon-to-be boyfriend." he paid no attention to the teacher and continued, "every time when I look at you, my heart would flutter. With your beauty, with your intelligence, with your everything! You are the one!" he started off dramatically.

"What is this feeling that I'm always getting? Love? Just... WHAT IS LOVE?" he asked aloud.

Taehyung hid his face in embarrassment, also cringing.

'Oh my fucking god. He's insane.'

"Love... is the power of nature!" he answered his own question.

Taehyung has had enough. He stood up and yelled at him, "Bo fucking gum, stop it!".

"No, Taehyung. I'm being serious here." he walked towards Taehyung and grabbed both his hands; putting them close to where his heart is.

Just then, Jungkook strode over to them and pushed Bogum away from Taehyung. "That's enough, Bogum. Fuck off." he growled.

Taehyung was stunned by his action and his face became all red; flustered.

Everyone's still watching them, confused and amused. 'You know what, I'll just sit down.' Taehyung sat back down and looked over at Mr. Kim.

'Damn, he's even enjoying the show himself.'

"What's your problem, Jeon? Why are you stopping me? Oh... wait. Now I get it. You like him too, huh. That's why you're getting in between us." he glared at Jungkook.

Taehyung choked on his own saliva and coughed after hearing what he concluded. "W-what are you saying!?" he blushed.

"Yeah. I like him. What about it? I was just about to confess to him just now." he fought back.

"Okay, okay." Mr. Kim said, and everyone's attention focused on him.

"So, both Bogum and Jungkook have already confessed their love for Taehyung. Now, who is Taehyung going to reject and accept? Or is hhe going to accept them both?" Mr. Kim yawned, "Let's get this over with."

'Just where did that strict and stern personality of his go off to?'

"Of course he's gonna pick Jungkook since he likes him..." someone whispered but Taehyung could still hear his classmate.

'Does Jungkook really like me or is he faking it to help me? Am I really going to confess to him like this? In this kind of situation?' Taehyung contemplated.

"Just do it already!" another student shouted.

"Alright, alright! I like you, Jungkook. I'm not sure whether you're faking this but still... I'm just going to get this off my chest. Please go out with me!" Taehyung confessed, and he stood up; his head hanging low in shyness.

Jungkook smirked and neared Taehyung, holding his hand tightly and intertwining them. He then pulled him into a hug and everyone gave them a standing ovation; some cheering and some clapping out of joy.

"A new couple has been formed!" Jimin announced.

'Oh god, I can't believe this is happening to me. I just can't believe it.'

Taehyung's mind has become all jumbled up as Jungkook continued to hug him, not letting him go.

"That's it class. Show time is over. Now, Bogum. Why don't you go cry and sulk over there in the corner of the classroom? I'm going to continue my lessons. Also... you have a detention after school just because you interrupted my class." Mr. Kim commenced and started teaching.

Jungkook and Taehyung pulled away from each other and sat back down to their seats, cooling down.

'He's finally mine now.' Jungkook smiled in victory.
