Jason's POV

I took a few half-hearted steps through the swinging doors. "C'mon Jason, It's way past lights out." The nurse said in what was meant to be a soothing voice. Sighing, I pushed my way into my dismal grey room. The nurse left me in peace and I flopped down onto my stiff hospital standard bed. My pillow felt like a a soothing ball of goodness as I heard a shuffle behind me. Peeking my head up slightly, it was just Enza. Enza is my only friend, well if she counts as one. She creaked her way down onto the bed. Bolting my body up I looked at her reflective mask.

"Enza, you know you can't come after hours." I tried to explain to her. She swung her suited legs on the edge of the bed. I gave an exasperated sigh as she continued to stay put. "Fine. But at least take off your jetpack first." I told her. With a great strength she pushed herself off the bed floating above the ground slightly while unhooking the belt that carried her bulky thrusters. "That's better. Now c'mon over here Enza, we can talk about what you did today." Enza carefully glided towards me and lay her head beside me. I grasped onto anything I could feel inside my head until I found where she was speaking.

Hey Jason. Today I flew to that star we saw yesterday. It was beautiful. You would have loved it I have to bring you next time. Who did you meet today? There was someone you were talking to, was she a cadet too? C'mon Jason answer me. You know it's too dangerous to talk to talk to the ones who aren't cadets. Jason!

Jason was already asleep before she finished talking and slowly melted away to a corner of his mind.

Ty's POV

Jerome is gonna be fine. I don't know what Ashley did to him but it must have been awful considering I'm here. Mitch just left again to go talk to the front desk. No news is good news. Ashley was an emotional wreck sitting by a plastic fern. Wait, not anymore she looks distracted. I saw her get up and ask the front desk for something. She came back with a piece of blank paper and a pencil. Whatever she was doing I didn't mind. I just needed to know if Sky was ok. Where is he? I jerked upright and scanned the room. No Sky. Shit. The calmer part of my brain said he went to the washrooms but the other side took over and pelted me with impossibilities. I stood up and started running to the washrooms, he had to be there right? If he wasn't, well I don't know if I could still be here.
