Chapter 3 - Love

I reach the roof, and see a girl about my height staring at the distance.

"Hey! I'm here!"

"Good...now I can tell you."

"What is it?"

"She's already dead..."

"What?"

"She was dead when I found her. I texted you to see if you wanted to help search for a note or something."

"If she's already dead, why did you threaten to hurt her?"

"...I honestly don't know. Nothing about what I sent made sense considering she's dead."

"...You're joking, aren't you?"

"Of course I am! She's not dead! If she was, I would've told you that in text!"

"So I figured. Why did you want me here?"

"Because I'm the sadistic bitch that'll kill you if you don't love me."

"...Right...guess I could've figured that out...with my best friend missing for two days and all..."

"Wait, it's been two days already?"

"Including today, yes."

"...Huh. I only meant for one day, but whatever works. Anywho, let's get into the date, shall we?"

"I'd say no, but I know what'll happen if I do, so I guess let's do this."

"Smart decision. Always took you as a genius. Let's go-"

"Or I could toss you over the side of the building."

"What's stopping you?"

"I'm pretty sure you're the only one who knows where Katelyn is."

"...It's a start."

"I'm gonna assume by the end of this, I'm supposed to be the perfect boyfriend, right?"

"Yeah. Now come on, perfect boyfriend, I have somewhere I wanna go."

"Whatever doesn't hurt anyone."

"Hah. You're gonna love me by the end of all of this."

We start to walk down through the school, which is empty. Unsurprising.

We walk down the street, holding hands (because if I let go, she'll stab me), and we come across BnF's Burgers and Fries.

"Okay, first, before we go in-"

"I was expecting something along the lines of a giant mall rather than a restaurant."

"Yes, but-"

"We're going somewhere just as expensive, aren't we?"

"No, we-"

"Gonna make me spend a lot of money here?"

"...You know a lot more about the stereotypical woman than I thought."

"Kinda had to learn with Katelyn as my best friend."

"Huh. Anyway, we're not here to spend a lot of money, I just figured you were hungry."

"Me? What about you?"

"I'm not hungry."

As her stomach rumbles.

"O-Okay, maybe a snack-"

"Are you fucking kidding me?"

"What?"
