At ISAC, Bella was known as the queen of archery. She dominated the event every year she competed in it. It was almost unfair to let her continue competing for everyone else's sake. But she genuinely enjoyed shooting that bow, so she continued to show everyone who was boss.
She sat down in a chair, awaiting her first turn.
Suddenly, Chan sat down two seats down from her. She glanced over and noticed him nervously tapping his foot and fiddling with his fingers.
"Relax, kid," she said simply.
This shocked him at first. He didn't know she'd actually speak to him. But then he smiled, her friendly and approachable energy enough to calm him instantly. "Sorry, I just...I'm not very good at this."
She leaned closer to him. "If you weren't very good, why would they let you compete?"
"For the comedy," he answered like it was obvious. "Haven't you seen Jackson hyung doing archery?"
This made Bella burst out laughing, which subsequently made Chan laugh. In this moment, Felix walked up and sat in the vacant chair between the two.
"That's a good point. I'll be cheering you on, though!"
"I wish I was as good as you, noona," Chan said, talking over Felix. "I've seen you on TV before. You're so good at this!"
She smiled. "Thanks. It just takes practice, that's all. So, how are you liking the ISACs so far?"
He looked around the arena filled with people all cheering for their favorite idols to either look at them for a photo, or rooting them on during their event. "It's pretty fun."
