The girls being on a hiatus was normally a great time for them. They used the time to bond, meet up with friends they haven't seen in a while, and support the boys. However, this time was different. Madison and Gigi both flew to Houston and Los Angeles respectively, Bella was filming for a web series, and ChaCha seemed go completely off the grid.

When the group met up as ot17 for the first time in quite a while, tensions were high. They'd spent so much time apart that things had become awkward for them.

"Noona!" Seungcheol screamed, bolting straight into Bella's arms.

She laughed, embracing him tightly. "Coups, I've missed you!"

Everyone was in one of the practice rooms, ready to film a quick vlive now that they were all together again.

"What about us?" Jeonghan muttered, approaching with a grin.

"You know I missed you, too."

"Bells!" Gigi greeted next, standing and walking over. "You look great, as always."

"So do you." Bella reached up and pinched Gigi's cheeks. "You've been eating a lot, your cheeks are fuller. I like it."

After all of the hugs and greetings were done, the group had a moment to chat before they started the vlive. They caught up on where they've been, what they've been doing, and everything in between.

"That sounds awesome," Minghao said with a clap after hearing Gigi talk about her dance camps at Millennium Dance Complex in Hollywood.

"What about you, ChaCha?"

"Hmm...not much, really. I spent time with my cousins. I slept a lot. Oh! Madison and I went to Germany!"

There was silence, then everyone started talking at once.

"Germany?!"

"Huh?!"

"How could you forget that?"

"You went to Germany?"

"Yeah, last week," ChaCha said with a shrug. "Kind of a heat-of-the-moment decision, you know?"

Bella's smile faltered a bit. "You didn't care to invite us?"

"Like you don't go places with your cast mates all the time," Cha said playfully with a scoff. A few of the boys chuckled, thinking it was just playful banter.

"Yeah, we go to places like Hongdae and Jeju...not like Germany."

Cha sensed the serious tone of her voice and glanced up at Bella, who was still standing in the far end of the room. "It was just a trip, it's not a big deal...Calm down."

"I am calm," Bella assured, faking a smile. "Did any of Madison's boyfriends go as well?"

Madison's head snapped up in shock. Seungcheol gently grabbed Bella's arm. "Yah, what was that for?" he whispered.

Before anyone could say anything else, though, a staff member came in and told them it was time to start the vlive. This was only the tip of the iceberg.

That night at rehearsal, things only got more tense. Madison hadn't said a word to Bella all day, and ChaCha was too prideful to act like it was all fine and dandy.

It was nearly three hours into rehearsal, and things weren't going well.

"Madison!" Gigi raised her voice after going over the routine for what felt like the hundredth time. "What is wrong with you tonight? You're doing everything wrong."

"I'm sorry, I'm trying."

"Try harder. And ChaCha! You look like you aren't trying at all."

ChaCha glanced around, looking to see if anyone else caught that Gigi wasn't speaking with respect. "Yah...why are you talking to me like that?"

Jun ran a tired hand through his hair. "She's just frustrated...I think we all are."

"So that gives her the right to talk down to me?"

Bella's turn. "Cha, she's just saying you aren't giving your all in the dance. Geez, you're acting kind of bitchy lately."

"Me? I've been acting bitchy?"

Hoshi, being the light hearted guy he was, stood up. "Yah, yah, yah. It's okay, she doesn't have to go all out. It's not like we're at a performance. She's probably tired, they've been traveling a lot."

"How's that fair?" Seungkwan mumbled, folding his arms across his chest.

Bella scoffed. "Maybe next time don't randomly go to a foreign country and manage your time better."

ChaCha laughed, but in a cynical way. "I knew you were upset over that. For the last time, Bella, it's not a big deal." She noticed the older girl flinch when she said her name. "Oh, what? It's okay for Geneva to talk down to me but not for me to talk down to you?"

No one ever called Gigi by her real name.

Seungcheol quickly stepped in front of Cha. "Yah! Enough!"

"I didn't mean to cause a problem," Gigi explained, her face flushed. "I was just annoyed, alright?"

Madison also folded her arms. "We always cater to you when you have little temper tantrums. You're the youngest, don't you know you can't just do that?"

"You do it, too!" Gigi countered.

Bella nodded. "You're the last one who can talk, Madison."

"Oh, of course she'll defend Gigi."

Vernon rolled his eyes and started to sit down on a nearby couch. "I don't understand this at all. What are you all even arguing for?"

"Cheong-Cha is slacking and is mad that someone called her out on it, that's why," Bella snapped. "If you don't care to try hard enough, why are you even in the group?"

The room went dead silent.

Eyes silently went from Bella to ChaCha to Madison to Gigi. No one knew what to say.

"Wow," was all ChaCha managed before she turned around and walked out of the room. Jihoon and Jeonghan immediately followed after her.

"Noona...wasn't that a bit too far?" Mingyu asked in a hushed tone, watching as the door closed behind his members.

Bella was too angry to even care. She turned to Madison. "Aren't you gonna go, too? Huh?"

"Hey, stop," Seungcheol pleaded, reaching to grab Madison's wrist. "Come on, let's get back to rehearsal."

Madison slipped away from his grasp and followed the trio out of the room without a word.
