At another one of those stupid award shows that idols are forced to attend, Bella was feeling exceptionally bored. It was actually quite difficult and exhausting acting like you were totally fascinated by everything all the time, especially when you were physically and emotionally drained.
Even though Bella kept up the facade for the cameras, deep down she wasn't feeling too hot.
She'd been up since nearly 3 in the morning and was running on four hours of sleep. She'd been doing promotions and then had to spend way too long getting ready for the show.
It wasn't a total lost cause though, seeing as Seventeen won an award for choreography and another for being a fan favorite.
Near the end of the show, GOT7 were coming to sit on a couch right in front of Seventeen. Bella was completely zoned out, staring blankly at the hosts who were presenting the next performance.
Yugyeom noticed how drained she looked as he sat directly in front of her, so he turned and offered her his unopened water bottle.
"No, no, I'm fine," she told him, waving her hand to get him to take it back.
He frowned at her. "Noona, take it. Please?"
"No, it's yours."
Time to pull out the aegyo, he thought. "Noona," he whined, lightly stomping his foot. "Drink it!"
She couldn't say no to that.
Bella bowed as she accepted the water and after taking a sip, she was so glad she did. Who knew a good bottle of iced cold water could completely turn your mood around?
She was suddenly feeling alive again.
As a silent thank you, she ruffled his hair.
The closing performance of the night was, of course, BTS. Idol blasted through the arena, making everyone stand and dance along to the song. Yugyeom turned around again and grabbed Bella's hand, ushering her down to his level.
"Dance with me!" he shouted over the music.
A fan cam of them doing the #IdolChallenge went viral that night.
