I hear screaming, it won't stop. i look down at my hands blood stained my hands. I watch trees burn down, feeling myself get weaker every minute. I see a hooded figure come towards me. I try to stand and run, but fail. I just stay there, watching the world fall apart in front of me. The hood figure is now in front of me. He swings his leg, kicking me in the face. I spit blood, but He doesn't stop, instead he swings harder. I cry , I scream but no one comes. I feel tears falling down my cheeks. I use my hands to wipe my tears, but when I look down at my hands, I see more blood. Fresh blood is smeared all over my hands. The hooded figure grabs me, and throw me to the ground, he pulls out a dagger and tries to stab me. I close my eyes waiting for the hit, but it never came. i open my eyes slowly, I see him.
Ace
He has a dagger in his chest. I reach and pull out the dagger throw it to the side. Everything disappears but me and him. I cry into his chest. I look at him. "I am so sorry" I whisper my voice cracking I lay my head on his chest feeling it rise and fall. Then it all stopped. His chest stayed still. I start to cry. I feel someone call my name.
I open my eyes, seeing Emily and Taylor looking at me with concern eyes. "You were screaming and crying" Emily whispers handing me a glass of water I look at them, not knowing what to say I can't tell them I am a Cedasu, it would blow my cover. Taylor takes a deep breath and looks me straight in the eye. Four words. It was all it took
"Are you a Cedasu" Taylor asks firmly I'm speechless, but I nod. When I finally calmed down I start to speak "How did you know" I ask "There is a war going on and you had a nightmare, but it wasn't a normal nightmare when you were screaming the wind would blow every time you screamed there was a thunder that followed." Taylor says Emily walks over and hugs me. "Tell us everything" she says, still hugging me I tell them about my dream, about why I moved, about Wella. They took everything in. "Wait how do you know about Cedasus" I ask "Because we aren't humans, Emily is an angel and I am dragon rider, but I also have a little fire power" Taylor answers "What about the guys" I suddenly sound hopeful. Maybe i do have a chance with Ace. "Sorry but we don't know, we only know each other" Emily answers, she looks at me with her sad eyes "I scared that I will loose Jake, I just can't" her voice cracking "You won't" I say, hugging her. "I guess we found out a lot more about each other tonight" Taylor chuckles, but it was humorless No one spoke, we just looked at each other. "Well I guess we really are not that different" Taylor says "Ya" Emily and I say at the same time We spend the rest of the night learning more about each other, Emily can heal people and has wings. Taylor has a dragon, her name is Stargaze. She shows my a picture though. They now know that I control wind.
