Lillian had swiftly returned to her bed at the sound of approaching footsteps. Alex was laying on his bed staring at the ceiling, his brain working over time to try figure out what had just happened. He could still feel Lillians lips against his. The door opens and the first to enter is Liam with the others close behind, all smiled upon seeing they were both awake.
"Thank god. Didn't think you'd wake up Lillian. You were in a really bad state." Alysha smiles and Lillian sits up and slings her legs over the edge of the bed and looks over at Alex who was still staring at the ceiling.
"Well she woke up good." Alex mumbles and Lillian chucks a pillow at him which he quickly catches.
"Don't even think about it." She snarled and Alex smiles a cocky grin as he also sits up and slings his legs over the bed so he was facing Lillian. The others looked between Alex and Lillian in shock.
"You were too weak to move 3 hours ago Alex yet not you're moving freely. What happened after we left this room?" Liam asks seriously and Lillian narrows her eyes at Alex slightly in a silent warning.
"Lillian woke up. When I heard her voice it gave me strength. I knew at that moment that getting shot and sliced open was worth it. If she hadn't woken up I wouldn't move again or at least I'd refuse to." Alex looks at his brother with a smile.
Crystal smirks with Delance, Ashley, Shannon, Maddison and Alysha. "Oh really." They say in a freakish unison which makes the guys inch away slightly.
"Oh please. Alex isn't that stupid." Lillian snorts and the guys including Alex look at her with brows furrowed in confusion.
"I wouldn't be so sure. He was more heartbroken when you blacked out that when his mother died." Alysha says with an eye roll.
Alex breaths in sharply but ends up coughing. Lillians gaze snapped to him and she quickly walked over with her IV stand. Alex clutched his chest as he tried to stop coughing, his face twisted in pain. "Hey, hey, hey. It's alright. Deep breaths. If you keep coughing you'll kill yourself." She says quickly before whispering so only he could hear.
"You can't die on me. I need you." A lone tear falls down her cheek. Alex muffles his coughs as he raises his head to look at her, his body shaking, his eyes watering. As he looked into Lillians eyes he slowly stopped coughing. Lillian heaves a sigh of relief.
"Don't do that Alex. You scared me half to death. After all if you die I may as well die too since you're the one who's always there to save me." She pats his good cheek before standing up straight and walking back to her bed where she sat and watched Alex carefully.
"Did something go on between you two?" Maddison asks curiously.
"NO." Lillian and Alex say in unison which ends in them smiling at each other.
"Well apart from the fact that once again Alex saved my life. I thought I'd finally return the favour." Lillian shrugs. "Where are we anyway?" She asks as she looks around the room. White, with shelves and drawers of equipment, no windows and a solid steel door.
"Well since people like to try kill us while we're in hospitals the guys made one of the larger basements into a personal hospital area while us girls went out and hired private doctors." Delance replies.
"I see." Lillian nods slowly.
"How long will we be in here?" Alex asks and Lillian turns to face the others, waiting for their answer.
"Lillian can leave in a couple days. You Alex in a month." Brett says and Alex sighs and grumbles unhappily.
"Could you guys leave now? Except for Liam and Alysha." Lillian smiles. Shrugging all but Liam and Alysha leave.
"I know both of you know what happened between Alex and I." Lillian leans back on her hands and Alex, Liam and Alysha stare at her in amazement.
"Oh please. It's only logical. Alysha would have found out something was off and you'd tell her. Liam is you're brother so why wouldn't you tell him?" Lillian rolls her eyes at Alex and he smiles with a chuckle.
"Brilliant as ever." He smirks cheekily.
"I'm warning you Alex Stone. There's nothing that will stop me." Lillian hissed lowly, her eyes flash with lust and Alex smiles triumphantly.
"Okay. Why did you want us to stay?" Liam asks as he looks at Lillian quizzically.
"Because you two are going to help us. If you say a word about us I will kill you both myself." Lillian says seriously.
Alyshas eyes widen almost instantly. Liam looks quickly between his brother and Lillian. "You two are..." He says uncertainly and Alex smiles.
"I never wanted it to happen but he has a way with words." Lillian sighs.
"Oh come on. You know you love me." Alex smirks cheekily and Lillian looks down.
"In a way I don't have a choice." She mutters to herself.
"What did you say?" Alysha asks.
"Nothing. Now please. The others can't know." Lillian pleads and the husband and wife smile.
"Don't worry. You're secret is safe with us." Liam nods and leaves with an arm around his wife, closing the door on the way out.
Lillian walks over to Alex and bends down so their noses were almost touching. "Next time wait until theres nobody around." She whispers before standing and walking back to her bed where she lay down and looked at the ceiling.
"Lillian." Alex whines and she smirks as she continues to stare at the ceiling.
"Please. I'm sorry. I won't do it again. I promise." Alex pleads but Lillian doesn't move, she just lay there smirking.
She gasps in shock when Alex appears beside her and presses his lips softly against hers. Her eyes close and she sits up before standing and wrapping her arms around his neck, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulls him closer. Alex wraps his arms around her waist, holding her firmly against his body as they kissed. Neither heard nor noticed that the door had opened and a smiling Alysha was in the doorway before she disappeared with a laugh and a shake of her head, closing the door silently behind her.
"Why do you care so much?" Alex asks as he pulls back and rests his forehead against hers.
Lillian smiles slyly as she ran a hand down his neck and chest to the waistline of his jeans. "Because I don't want anyone else to see what's mine." She whispers and Alex swiftly smashes his lips against hers in hunger and last which Lillian matches easily.
