5 months later
Lillian Morgan
"You traitor." I screamed and lunged towards a tall male other white hair, black eyes and see elf pointed ears.
The surviving band of elves quickly grabbed hold of me. "Don't. You're too weak." One of them whispers and I stop struggling.
"Get out of here before I kill you. But I promise. This isn't over." I spat and the man laughs before turning and walking away into the smoke.
"Aaand cut. Well done people. This one's a keeper." The director calls and I smile.
The green screen suddenly crashes down beside me and the actors and actresses playing the surviving elves almost get crushed. Laying atop the screen with a cord around their legs was my british assistant. "I'm so terribly sorry. But I was in a hurry. Miss Lillian you have a gift here for you. Sent from Los Angeles." She says as she tries to untangle herself but only seemed to make it worse.
Chuckling I walk over and help. "You said it was from Los Angeles. Did it have a name on it?" I ask but she shakes her head.
Once untangled she stands and brushes herself, her face red with embarrassment. As I follow her people walk by and take away my props and wipe away the fake blood from my face and arms without me having to stop or slow down. "Here you are." My assistant stops and indicates to a bouquet of red lilies sitting on a table.
"I know exactly who sent these. Red lilies. Red the colour of my hair. Lily for my name. Plus they happen to be my favourite kind of flowers and I've only ever told one person. But that was around 7 years ago. Yet still he remembers." I chuckle with a smile and pull off the note.
I open it and roll my eyes.
'Hide and seek' was written in Alex's neat handwriting.
Carefully I look through the lilies to find a fake metal one hidden in the middle of the bouquet, painted like the french flag. On it was another note.
'Turn around my love'
Slowly I turn around with a frown.
The note slips from my hands as I gasp and fan my face, repeatedly whispering "Oh my god" to myself.
Kneeling on one knee with his cocky grin and loving brown eyes was Alex. "I couldn't quite wait until you got back so I could do this." He says. Almost everyone from the set surrounds us with large, happy smiles.
I was shocked. Never would I have imagined Alex would come to Slovakia for this.
"Before you say anything there's someone who wants to speak to you." He takes an ear coms from his ear and passes it up to me with a smile. Slowly I put it in my ear.
"Hello?" I ask cautiously.
"Say yes mum. Say yes. I want him to be my dad for real. I want to be a Stone. I want to be Mary-Anne Stone." Tears spring to my eyes as my precious daughter speaks. Wiping my tears I hand the ear piece back. He switches it off and puts it in his pocket.
Alex then pulls out a dark velvet box and opens it to reveal a beautiful ring. It was rose gold with a clean, sparkling diamond. On each side were small, pink and clear diamonds that shone in the light. "Holy shit." I gasp. "That's a 3.5 carat stone." I murmur to myself but by the smirk on Alex's face he managed to hear.
"Lillian. I love you and your daughter. I want you both to truly be apart of my family. So will you marry me and become a Stone?" He asks and so break down into tears as I nod. He stands and slips the ring onto my finger before kissing my lips softly. He hugs me close and everyone cheers.
"Just a slight warning Alex. You do realize what you've gotten yourself into right?" I whisper.
"Nope. Not a clue." He replies quietly.
"I'll give you a little sneak peek. I've been planning my wedding since I was 9 and all the girls are gonna be my bridesmaids. All of them Alex. And they're also going to be helping me out with this wedding." Alex groans slightly as I whisper in his ear.
"I should have seen this coming. 7 girls who can kill, are freakishly talented and all have looks girls would die for are going to plan this wedding. I think I'll just sit back and watch over Mary-Anne." He says and I kiss his cheek.
"You're a very smart man Alex. Not bad looking either." With a teasing wave I walk over to a group of actresses. They squealed and dawned over the ring as I showed them.
"By the way Alex. I like the little personal touches you added to this. It's very romantic. You're gonna get a reward when I get back home and only then. Not any time before." I call over my shoulder.
"Oh yes. I really should have seen this coming." He says with a dramatic sigh.
"But don't think you're leaving either. You're my ride home and there's only a couple weeks left for final touch ups and scenes." Turning I see Alex trying to contain his happieness.
"Why don't I show you around darling." Extending my hand he swiftly takes it and I lead him around the Orava Castle.
Fans were sucking up the smoke from the last scene and the green screen was being checked for damage as we passed. "This place is rather beautiful." Alex says as he looks around.
"It is isn't it. The people here are so nice. We should come here for a holiday some day. Go for walks in the trees with Mary-Anne. She'd love it." My eyes flickered over the beautiful castle and out at the scenery surrounding it.
"That's a brilliant idea." Alex kisses the side of my head and I smile widely.
"What would you have done if I said no?" I ask as I lead him up onto the roof area.
"Well. I would have picked you up and slung you over my shoulder before walking out and putting you into my car. I would have married you anyway. I need you in my life. You make it clearer, happier and much less frustrating. Except for the crazed french ladies who try to kill us. That part I can go without." Alex puts his arm around my waist and pulls me closer.
I look up into his eyes and caress his cheek. "Mary-Anne has your eyes you know. She's gonna break some hearts thst one." I say and Alex chuckles softly.
"I wouldn't expect any less from a Stone."
