I forced my eyes to open, and immediately regretted as soon the light hits my eyes.
What is this?
My head was throbbing for no reason which is very rare, and I'm on some kind of material on my bed that I didn't like. Why am I cold?
I sighed, and looked around after I was able to open my eyes without flinching from the light beams. I glanced at the ceiling, and things started to remind me things, but I couldn't place it.
I froze, I wasn't in my bed, or even in my house, and yet it looked all familiar. Oh. No. No no no. I chanted in my mind. And I'm naked...as fuck. I usually groveled about privacy, and yet I'm literally in my birthday suit, without any coverage.
I looked down, almost gasping, and saw a man on wooden floor, with lilac wool blanket strewn across the man's lower body. His hair was sticking out all over, and his body was pale, and slim but muscular. He'd looked familiar.
No freaking way. My eyes widened.
Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd.
I must've hit my head before going to bed because I've never seen or been through this before.
I'm in Meredith's house. How the hell did I get here? But this might not be a bad thing...I thought silently.
I moved my body into a sitting position, and I decided to look at him. I blinked, and I decided to follow what Meredith would've done. I reached towards the blanket, and grabbed it.
I stood up and wrapped the blanket to hide my naked frame. I glanced over, and grabbed the ugly colored pillow and turned back to drop it on his very nice looking ass.
He grunted at the impact of the pillow, I grinned. He's awake. He looked slightly dazed, and reach out to the black bra, and he grabbed it.
"This is..." he trailed off once he propped the bra in the air with his hand, I immediately felt embarrassed, flushed in pink. I hastily grabbed it out of his hand, "humiliating on so many levels," I grimaced and quickly tiptoed past his sleepy body. I felt shock, because first, my bra or Meredith's bra, is a B cup and mine was supposed to be a C cup. And second, my actions felt normal like a habit or something. I didn't even remember saying what I said to...Derek. It felt natural.
"Look, you have to go," I said urgently, almost panicking. He sat up and looked at me, "why don't you just come back down here and we'll pick up where we left off?" He looked at me with tiredness in his eyes, but his tone was suggestive.
I sighed while I stood behind this awful couch, "no, seriously. You have to go, I'm late." I fidgeted with my hands, "which isn't what you want to be on your first day of work...so," I mumbled afterwards.
He was already putting his boxers on, he glanced around the living room.
"So, ah, you actually live here." He commented while putting pants on. "No," I blurted while trying to shield the sun from my eyes.
He looked confused, "oh."
I hesitated, "yes. Kind of." Why am I saying same things as Meredith did?
"Oh, it's nice, a little dusty. Odd. But it's nice, so how do you kind of live here?" He looked at me with curiosity while putting on the red buttoned up shirt.
"I moved two weeks ago from Boston, it was my mother's house, I'm selling it." I glanced and growled internally. Why am I saying them like I have no filter?
"Oh, I'm sorry," He looked down to button the last button and up. I looked at him in confusion, then my eyes widen in realization.
Right, he thought my m...Meredith's mom is dead.
