This morning wasn't so awful.
Well, it depends on who you're asking.
"Reagan!" Scott stormed into my bedroom, I blinked, "could you tell Izzie, and George to stop barging into bathrooms especially if someone like me is in there?!" He growled, I sighed, "Scott, tell them yourself," I grumpily said, he stopped scowling.
"What's wrong?" He asked concern. I waved the check in the air, "this is what's wrong," I sighed.
He leaned towards to grab the check, "Roseridge Home for Extended Care? Why are you writing a check for..." He trailed off with his eyes widened, I nodded.
"your mother? Eh...her mom?" He awkwardly said, "I'm here so might as well call her my mom." I shrugged.
I snatched the check, and put it in the blank envelope, and I grimaced while licking the edges to seal it.
Izzie came into my room, in her Hello Kitty underwear, "coffee?" She asked, I shook my head, and Scott looked at her somewhat appalled. "Okay," she left my bedroom to go find George.
I laughed, "I'm guessing you already forgot about this scene?" I guessed, he nodded slowly.
Like I said, not so bad morning.

"You are the first person they see in the morning. You say please. You say thank you. You apologize for waking them up." Bailey came in after we got out of the locker room, I stretched my neck, and I put the lab coat on.
Alex walked in late, Bailey turned around, and glared at him. "You're late, Karev," she barked, "sorry," Alex shrugged, going to his locker.
Bailey huffed, "You make them feel good about you. Why is that important? Cause then they'll talk to you and tell you what's wrong. Why is that important? Because then you can tell you're attending what they need to know during rounds. And why is that important? Because if you make your resident look bad, she'll torture you until you beg for your mama. Now get out there. I want pre-rounds done be 5:30 am." She scolded, already leaving.
Alex opened his mouth, "morning, Doctor Model," and Izzie jerked her head and glared at him. "Don't even bother. Alex, leave Izzie alone," I groaned.
They both looked at me, I raised my eyebrows, "what?" I asked, feeling snarky already. Alex shrugs, and Izzie mumbled, "nothing."
I spotted Cristina, "I'd better get good patients today. Yesterday I had two guys with colostomies who needed dressing changes every 15 minutes." I muttered, she looked at me, "I'm gonna be in surgery. Today's my day." I rolled my eyes, I didn't even bother asking what kind since I already knew what it was.
I walked out of the hallway to the main hallway, and I bumped into Derek.
"You're here early," I said, he let me pass him, then he walked with me.
"I have a cordotomy at 5:00. I'll be out at 6:00. I thought I might buy your breakfast before your rounds." He took a sip of his coffee.
"I've already eaten." I said tiredly, he looked a little disappointed.
"What'd you have?" He raised his eyebrows, expecting me to answer him.
I rolled my eyes, and I walked around him to avoid a nurse who's late.
"None of your business," I said snarky.
Then he proceeds to walk backwards so he could talk to me directly.
I'd hope he fall.
"You a cereal person? Straight out of the box? Or all fruit and fiber-y?" Then he laughed, I felt chills running down my spine, what the hell?
Did I like his laugh, or?
"Pancakes? Do you like pancakes?" He asked me, I sighed, "Fine, leftover spaghetti. Curiosity satisfied?" I did have spaghetti.
He pulled a face, "That's sad. It's pathetic. A good day starts with a good breakfast." He scoffed, I glared at him, then he walked next to me.
"Look, I'm not being seen with you in this hospital. It's unprofessional." I muttered, he sighed.
"I'm just an attending getting to know one of his interns." He said innocently, "He slept with the intern," I concluded, raising my right eyebrow.
He huffed, "Barely knew her." I smiled.
"And it should stay that way." I drawled, finally arriving to our destination.
"You want me to be professional? I'll be professional." He gotten a little closer to my face, so unprofessional.
"That's what I want." Knowing what he'll say next, "Then that's what you get." He muttered, disappointed.
It won't last long anyways, I like torturing him, and I still need time to figure anyways.
I glanced at his watch, "You're gonna be late for your cordotomy." I smiled slyly.
He huffed, "Nice talking to you, Doctor Grey." He somewhat stormed away. I immediately started my pre-rounds.

George came by, "hey, we need to have some rules," he huffed. I looked at him, "So, what, we can walk around in our underwear on alternate Tuesdays, or you could see bras but not panties? Or are you talking Amish rules? Because if you think you're gonna get Izzie to cover herself, also give Scott some privacy, okay?"
I paused, looking straight into his eyes, "have fun with that." Then l left him standing, not wanting to deal with the fact it was my mother's house.
Bailey hollered, "O'Malley, Grey, get Karev and head down to Trauma. Shepherd needs you." I turned to her, "I thought Shepherd's in surgery?" I asked confused.
She glanced at me, "He got pulled before he could start."
I sighed, walking with George, and...Alex to Trauma room.

The next day was nearly uneventful, I went to see Ellis after shift yesterday, and I wasn't surprised that she remembers Liz Fallon, Cristina's patient.
I sighed scanning across the patient's chart, I heard footsteps, "spaghetti again?" I looked up to see him sipping his coffee, I smiled, "cold pizza," I handed him the chart.
I walked with him, "is he awake?" He questioned while grinning, "even better." I shrugged. He quickly glanced at me.
"Really? Let's see what his nurse says."
We walked into Jorge's room. "Hi, Sona, Jorge. How are you this morning?" Derek started his dprocedure, Sona smiled, "Tell them what color my dress is, Jorge."
Jorge laughed, "I'd know the answer to that even if I couldn't see."
I smiled, while looking at Derek, he looked at me, and I quickly looked away.
