A/N-This chapter will have a lot of fighting but it's not really gory.
By the time we get up the stairs, I've lost my confidence. There is no way four people can beat a gang, I think. More doubts tumbled into my head trying to crush every hope I had of winning. 'No', I say to my self, 'this isn't how you think. You may not win, but you will fight. Yes, I always fight.
Everyone was surprised, as I ran through the bed and jumped to the floor." Come on guys, quit being so dreary! We're obviously going to win!"
The rest look confused before Jake grins and yells "And then we're going to host a, like, victory party!"
"And we are going to brag about beating a gang to our friends!" Muna adds
"Um... are we forgetting that we have to finish college applications?" We all groan and laugh at August's comment.
Except for Daniel of course who just has to ruin the mood by asking," Where will I be during all of this?"
I swear the air grew thicker when he asked his question. Mostly because we didn't know. We didn't stand much of a chance as it was but if we had to protect Daniel too we wouldn't be able to do anything. No, we couldn't be so negative. "We'll figure it out later," I said waving my hand nonchalantly. The action betrayed my inner worries but no one had to know that.
"You act like you're going to be alone." All of us whipped around to the voice which was coming from the doorway. There stood a lady we'd never seen before but I quickly noticed the purple scar on her clothes and swung out my weapon.
Muna had already slammed her against a nearby wall with her Bhuj against the stranger's throat, "What are you talking about?" Muna's actions would be intimidating to anyone else but this woman only smiled.
"I'm here to help. So is half of the Purple Scars. Jessie and Jen got a lot of us on their side before they... you know. We were just waiting for the right moment and you guys have given us the perfect one."
A thank you was communicated through my eyes while I just nodded." Let's go then. August and Jake and 5 other members will take Daniel to my house. Muna and the rest of you will fight the Purple Scars and I will take on Kizuato."
August looked like there was a disagreement on the tip of his tongue but he knew better than to argue with me. So he grasped the handles of Daniel's wheelchair and left, Jake following close in suit. Muna turned and left too with the other lady. We shared no goodbyes and we didn't need to. I would see all of them later.
I went up the stairs last and fled to the roof. I didn't know why but this place just made me think of Kizuato. And surely he was there waiting for me.
A grin split his face as he saw me enter. "Oh, I knew you would find me here." He said adoringly.
I rolled my eyes and slipped out my small scythes. Today I was not in a patient mood. I leaped on him but he quickly twisted my arms behind my back. I might not know how to fight but my reflexes were quick enough. I threw my Kama up, the blade slicing his arm. As the blood dripped from his arms I took the opportunity to twist out of his grip.
Just as I was about to catch my scythe Kizuato caught it. The wound I had given him didn't seem to faze him in the least. He threw the knife over the edge of the roof. I heard a faint clack as it hit the floor below us. "No weapons." He stated simply.
I growled. Now how was I supposed to kill him? Something glinted in his pocket. I would use that. Sensing my thoughts were elsewhere the psycho delivered a low kick to my shin. I jumped out of the way to late and it landed. I fell down gasping. I wasn't used to that type of pain but I quickly got up. I couldn't give him another opportunity.
I tried to punch and dodge another kick from him at the same time. While his kick narrowly missed its target my punch hit him directly causing him to move back, surprised. I tried to take this opportunity to take the knife from him but he was too quick. Seeing where I was looking he got it out of his pocket himself and in one swift motion pushed me against the railing of the roof, knife to my throat.
{Actions scenes are super hard to write}
