Dreams assaulted me as I was unconscious..

I found myself viewing what appeared to be an aged bearded man... and a young boy, stuck inside a large stone chamber.. which was filled with what appeared to be beakers, bronze machinery, and various other equipment.

The man was dressed in clothing akin to that of typical Greeks, as was his boy, sitting on the wall of the large workshop, were two sets of beautiful bronze wings, with interlocking feathers, all perfectly fitted, perfectly carved and welded.. wondrous.

"Now.. Icarus.. remember." said the old man. "If you fly too high-.."

"The sun will melt the wax, and if I fly too low, the ocean will wet it.. I know father, we've been through this a hundred times." said Icarus.

The father smiled at the boy, obviously his son being his pride and joy. But he didn't have time to keep smiling... the doors to the workshop suddenly made a large banging noise.

The Father grabbed the wings and started strapping them on, as the boy did the same.

"HURRY M' Boy!" said the father. "Minos is onto us.. we must go now!!"

"BAAAAAAMMM!!" suddenly the door was torn apart.. and none other than the same King who Nico spoke with in my last dream.. only not a ghost.. walked in, accompanied by guards.

"Well well... how pleasant.. you look like giant chickens." said Minos, scowling at his prisoners.

"We're leaving Minos." said the man, who I was now sure was Daedalus himself.

"Leave? I think not.. you are here to make WONDERS for me.. my very own personal genius!!" said Minos. "IF you decide to escape me.. I believe I can just execute you.. "

"That won't work.." Daedalus growled. "You need me.."

"No.. rather.. I don't need the living you.. a mage has informed me of a way to resurrect you as my absolute subordinate using a system known as.. the Throne of Heroes.." said Minos with smirk. "I think I can find that most productive.."

Daedalus smirked back. "You wish..  NOW M'BOY!!"

In an instant, Daedalus and Icarus spread their wings as Daedalus hit a switch on the wall, and a massive updraft exploded out from the grates in the floor,  carrying them through the large hole in the ceiling.

"NOOOOOOOO!!" roared Minos. "I SWEAR DAEDALUS!! EVEN IF I DIE.. I WILL FIND YOU!! AND I WILL NEVER STOP PURSUING YOU!! DAEDALUSSSSS!!"

As Daedalus and Icarus flew away, Icarus laughed and soared around, doing loop de loops and all sorts of tricks..  "WE DID IT FATHER!! WE ESCAPED THAT DAFT KING!!"

"Boy!! Careful!" Daedalus yelled. "ICARUS!!"

But Icarus wouldn't listen. Drunk with the feeling of his own freedom, he soared higher and higher into the sky.. then..

The first feather flew out.. and the next.. and the next.. and suddenly Icarus was screaming, flapping his arms uselessly as he fell.

"ICARUS!! EXTEND YOUR ARMS.. GLIDE DONT FLAP!!"  Daedalus roared.

But Icarus couldn't hear him over his own panic... and the last thing I saw before the dream cut off, was Icarus falling towards the ocean, yelling as he tried fly.. facing the price of flying too close to the sun.

It was probably safe to say that I felt like complete crap.
