Spirits?

"Don't let a single one get away." Fox stood atop huge cliff along with many other famed smasher's. He held up his gun to the air. Pointing it at... hundreds of Master Hands. Even though the hands had no eyes, it seemed they were staring at our Heroes ominously. "We'll each need to take down about ten." Marth said aloud. "Stow you're fear. It's now, or never." Zelda replied. "We'll win this. I know we will." Pit said.

All the Master Hands floating in the air started coming apart, as if they were molting. The white coating came off of each of them, and underneath was a blue, glowing hand. They each started to move toward the big source in the middle of sky. Suddenly, Shulk had a vision. A bad one. He tried to warn everyone but he was to late.

The big source turned into a black hole releasing yellow beams that moved at very high speeds. Link attacked it with the Master Sword which did nothing. He blocked it with his shield which blocked it from touching him. But he was struck by another yellow beam and was transferred to... Dust.

Samus shot at the Yellow destructors but it had no effect on them. Samus was hit and turned to dust. Every other fighter had this fate. Sonic and Pikachu ran ahead, nearly escaping. the yellow beams caught up to the pair, taking Pikachu first. Then it took The blue blur.

Palutena used her Reflect to dodge the beams. It didn't work. She was turned to dust, and blown away. Pit and Dark Pit were flying from the dreaded beams. But since Palutena was gone they both lost their wings and fell into the yellow beams. 

 Kirby rode on his yellow warp star, dodging the beams. He the things chased after him, but he was to fast. He warped to another area on the planet.

The beams picked up other beloved Nintendo characters, and brought them someplace elsewhere. 

"P-please... Someone... save us..." An unknown spirit said. Then, he saw a pink puffball hanging off a yellow warp star. 

He crash landed on the weathered ground, and after, stood up. The unknown spirit watched from a distance. " He's here. Our savior." The spirit floated behind Kirby and told him, "Turn around." Kirby turned and saw whole nother below him. "Welcome to... The World of Light."
