~*Malani*~

I've been in this interrogation room for three days now. They don't let me sleep and they keep the lights bright so that I won't go to sleep.

"Just tell us where the rest of the drugs are and you can go home." Detective Richardson said.

It has been the same two detectives. Detective Richardson was a black female. I think she was gay the way she kept looking at my chest through my white shirt since I didn't have a bra on. Detective Holmes was a also black but a male. He was fine as hell but he was too quiet for me.

"You must need some dick in yo' life. Sitting up here questioning me for three days tells me you ain't got no man at home."

"I don't because I'm a carpet muncher if you must know." She said flicking her tongue out at me.

See, my gaydar was always on point. I could point 'em out as though I was gay myself.

"Hmm. You will never get a taste of this." I said looking away.

She licked her lips and walked towards me.

"I can if I want to. I would enjoy turning yo' lil' ass out. Have you begging for a nice lick down. Play with it if you want and watch I make you call me mommy." She said licking my ear lobe.

Since I wasn't handcuffed I punched her in her face. She got up off the ground and held her jaw.

"I like 'em rough so I ain't gon' even tell. I'll see you soon Honey." She said walking out of the room still holding her jaw.

She took it upon herself to call me Honey because she said my skin tone reminded her of honey. The bitch was sick and I didn't like it.

"Mrs. Lewis. Will you like to tell the truth now?" Detective Holmes asked walking in.

He was way different from Wicked Dyke as I liked to call her. He took his time with me and tried to converse with me before he started questioning me. He looked young too like he was around my age.

"Don't you have a family to be at home with? Why do you even have this job?" I asked sitting forward.

"I have no family. The only family I have is my aunt Diane and cousin Kai. I'll rather not talk about that though." He said sitting back in his chair.

   "I understand."

It was silent and we were just staring at each other. I was fascinated with his mysterious eyes. He held so many secrets and I wanted to know them all. I wanted to know his desires, fantasies, wishes and dreams. I wanted to know everything about him. I shook my head because I had a husband. I shouldn't be feeling this way about a stranger.

"Why are you doing this for him Malani?"

The way he said my name. Yes lawd! I wanted to just climb atop this table and give him rights to caress my body anyway he saw fit. No, no, no. I have to remember that I am a married woman now and I can't be sexing no detective.

"Doing what?" I asked leaning even closer.

"Protecting him. You should love for you and no one else. You don't have to protect him."

"I told y'all that the drugs were mine the first night y'all brought us in. Y'all want to prolong this situation and try to get me to rat him out when the drugs were mine from the start."

I was riding for Zay. It was my fault we were in this mess so I deserve to sit behind bars, not him.

"If you want to do the time for him then so be it. Mess up your perfect record and be classified as a felon for the rest of your life if you want to." He said standing up.
