Chapter 24

~*Lani*~

I was just about to walk into the living room for my meeting with the girls when I had to backtrack and run to the bathroom. I was so focused on getting to the toilet that I almost knocked Jen down.

   "Sorry." I mumbled as I held my hand over my mouth and kept running to the bathroom. Why was it so far?

When I finally made it there I released everything I just ate and I really mean everything. Even when I thought I was down there was always just a little bit more to come up.

   "You okay in there Ms. Lani?" Someone asked from the other side of the door.

   "Yea." I replied after I finally caught my breath.

I stood up, flushed the toilet then proceeded to wash my hands. I was so upset with myself because I lied to one of the girls and said that her cheesy eggs were good this morning and I hated eggs but I ate them for her. Obviously my body didn't like the eggs either.

When I was done washing my hands, I opened the medicine cabinet and poured a little of Listerine in my mouth. After I spit it out I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked tired but I didn't feel tired. I looked irritated but I wasn't. I decided to stop bringing attention to unnecessary things when I had better things to attend to.

I walked out of the bathroom like nothing ever happened and made my way into the living room. When I got there I saw the girls, along with Rayna and Kiana, waiting patiently. They all were looking at me curiously but I ignored the few stares.

   "Okay girls. The first month is up and I want to congratulate y'all for making it this far." I started clapping and they followed suit.

   "I've decided to change a few things after evaluating each and everyone of y'all. I know I told y'all that no sex was allowed but who wouldn't want to get their back blown out by a rich man that was willing to pay? More money right? So I've decided that sexual activity will be allowed but only if they are paying for it and it has to be protected. It also has to be with one person and not like five different ones. Understood?" I asked the girls.

   "Yes Ms. Lani."

   "Okay, on to the next thing. I wanted to do a little competition thing such as ranks. Like the highest ranking girl will have a room to herself until the next ranking and they get to chose their client along with other personal goodies like a mini shopping spree at their store of choice."

   "So what about the lowest ranking girl?" One of the girls asked but I couldn't pinpoint who.

   "The lowest ranking girl will go through an evaluation to see what she is doing wrong. There really should never be a low ranking girl but if there is then she will be dealt with accordingly along with the evaluation."

   "What if the same person is lowest rank twice?" Tarsha asked with a raised hand.

   "We'll talk about it when the time comes."

I held up a finger and asked Kiana to bring me a chair. Before I could even sit down, everything went black.

~*Zay*~

I rushed into the emergency room out of breath. I looked around to see if I could pinpoint any familiar faces but I didn't. I did see a white tatted girl walking towards me.

   "Are you Zay?"

   "Yea." I eyed her suspiciously because I didn't know her.

   "Follow me."

   "Who are you and is she okay?"

   "I'm her friend Rayna and she's just fine. What I don't understand is why she had you as an emergency contact."
