Chapter fifteen

Lennox's p.o.v-
After tanning for a bit I decided to swim for a bit. I went over to the diving board and did a front flip into the pool "nice flip" shane said swimming over to me. "Thanks I used to take gymnastics when I was little before my parents died."  I swam over to the other side and started doing laps. "Hey let's play chicken" shane yelled. " Ok" I said swimming over to where my mom, dad,and shane were. "Whos on who's back?" I asked. "We'll your mom can be in joeys and you can be on mine" shane said while glaring at my dad. "Ok" I said. Shane bent down and I got up on his shoulders and waited for my mom to get on dads. "And go" shane yelled. I started shoving my mom and almost fell back but stopped myself by grabbing onto shane, after a few minutes my mom went down with a smack. "Yes" I shouted while still on Shane's shoulders. I hopped down and went over to my chair and grabbed my towel and started to dry off when my phone started ringing it was my best friend Dylan yes he's a guy but hes been my best friend since we were 2.

L-hey
D-hey wat r u doing tonight?
L-nothing as far as I know why?
D-my mom went on a business trip and I'm lonely, do you want to come over?
L-uh yea let me ask my parents and I'll just text you and let you know.
D-ok I'll talk to you later.
I hung up my phone and walked over to where my mom and dad were standing talking to shane. "Hey mom,dad can I stay the night at Dylan's his mom is on a business trip and he's alone and wants me to come over." I said putting in my puppy dog face. "I don't know about that Lenny" dad said. "Please you know we don't do anything I've stayed there several times please let me go" I said giving him a hug. "Let her go joey I trust them." My mom said. "Alright go, do you need me to drive you?" my dad said. "No he said he'd come get me because we're gonna go eat and stuff." I said giving mom a hug. Shane just sat there with a sad expression on his face. "I'm gonna go get my stuff" I yelled running into the house. I text Dylan and told him to come get me in about 20 minutes. I ran to my closet and grabbed a pair dark skinny jeans,my fault in our stars tank top, socks and white converse. After I was dressed I went to my vanity and dried my hair really quick and put some light makeup on. I then put a blue and black belly ring in and grabbed my small duffel bag and put a pair of sweat pants,tshirt,socks,a superman tank top,short shorts, and my sparkly black bobs and my toiletries. After I was packed I ran down stairs and waited for Dylan.
