Alora: The Quod Viride Luscus Vampire

Lynia's Past

  I was walking down the corridor after leaving Dez at the entrance. I walk to my chambers, I really didn't feel like being bothered with anyone; I hope Sorsha understands. When I reach my door, I see my mother standing there waiting on me. Why can't they leave me alone, I swear they are always smothering me. I sigh then walk to my mother, " Mother, why are you here?", I really wanted to be alone. My mother gives me a look, I swear I felt like a five year old again. "Alora, I know you're upset, but don't take that tone with me, You're not too old for me to put you across my knee". Wow, I rarely seen mother raise her voice and of course, when she does, its at me. " I'm sorry mother, it's been a trying couple of days". "Come Alora we need to talk", as she walks into my chamber. We go and sit on my bed, mother turns to me " I know you have a lot of questions Alora,  I will answer your questions,  but first, I will tell you my story.

I was born and raised in the Kingdom of the Witches. Most of the witches born there become lady in waitings, it's a deal between King Morton and Queen Razel to keep the peace. A lot of the Witches did not agree with this, so once a witch became with child, and if the child was a witch, they would have it and leave it in the kingdom to be raised. The most powerful witches stays in the kingdom with the queen, but there are some exceptions. I was training to become a warrior, but when I was almost 15, cassandra's suppose to be lady in waiting Aubree lost her temper, and her true power surfaced. Queen Razel wanted Aubree for herself, and had to come up with something that would not break the deal. Cassandra was not married to Cletus yet, so when she was about to come to the castle, Cletus sent for Aubree. Razel sent me instead, Cletus really didn't mind after he seen me, he thought I was so beautiful. The first couple of weeks I was here I had classes to become a lady in waiting during the day and cried at night. One day I was walking in the garden, one month before cassandra was to marry cletus, I seen your father. He and cletus were already standing in the garden talking when I attempted to pass them, then cletus stopped me to introduce me to Tristan. He looked at me with the most beautiful, loving eyes, I felt as if the world stopped. He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen and even tho I didn't know why, he was going to be mine. Over time tristan and I became close, we spent all of our free time together. Cletus and cassandra got married, I became her lady in waiting, everything was going well as it could be. Years went by, tristan told me he was suppose to leave but, he could not leave me and when I turned 18 I would understand. I could not leave with him because of the blood oath I had with cassandra, and I knew she would not release me from it. When Titus realized his only heir to the Dragon Throne would not return, he became very angry. Titus sent 3 of his most powerful dragons to retrieve Tristan by any means necessary. On my 18th birthday, I realized what he waited on for 3 years, he was my bloodmate. That night, we were attacked and they tried to kill me, tristan lost control and transformed into his dragon, and killed them all. He went to his father and out of anger he renounced his title. Titus could not let him and asked Tristan for one thing, his first born dragon would be the next heir, and he agreed. Titus haven't talked to Tristan in 15 years, I was the only contact he had to tristan.

Meanwhile in the cells.....

Titus and Tristan are in the cells as Cletus walks over to jack to interrogate him about his attack on Alora. Jack is chained to the wall by his hands and feet, his body is still broken up from the scuffle with Dez. Cletus is scanning jack up and down noticing his injuries, then he turns to Titus, "Your Majesty, your man has really did a number on him, he's in pretty bad shape, it will take him weeks to heal from this". Titus walks up and examine jacks injuries, his usual blonde hair is dyed red from his blood, his face was so fractured that he could hardly recognize him. The healers only healed him enough for him to be chained by his hands and feet. "Dam, Dez really did fuck him up", Titus thought. " Cletus make sure he's healed enough to talk, you have two weeks". With that said, Titus walks out the cell, but Tristan stays behind. He walks next to Cletus, staring at jack," Lord Cletus, you've been nothing but good to Lynia, Alora and I, but if I find out that you personally had something to do with this, YOU WILL FEEL MY WRAITH"! Then he walks out the cell, leaving Cletus standing there.

  King Morton's Castle.....

King Morton is sitting at his desk going through a stack of very old books, when Lucis walks in. "Your Majesty", we have pressing news from our spy at Lord Cletus's castle". Morton lifts his head from the book, "it better be important Lucis, as you can see i'm busy". " Sir, King Titus is staying at Lord Cletus castle for sometime. Our spy also indicate that Tristan is Titus son, and Alora is his granddaughter". Morton stands up and slam the book on his desk, " God dammit Lucis, out of all fucking people she's related to, it has to be that fucker Titus!", as he hiss. Morton regains his composure, " I have to be more careful, Titus has three legendaries plus his son". "If I may your majesty, the spy said the second in command, named jack, attacked Alora and now he is chained up in the cells". "Hmmmm, and why did he attack her, Lucis"? " The details are sketchy, but he did try to force himself on her". A smile forms across Morton's face, "This could be just what I need, tell your spy to go to this jack and offer him a deal he can't refuse". "After he gets us Alora, we can dispose of him". "Yes your Majesty", then Lucis walks away.

    I sat there listening to my mother tell her story with so much emotion. I didn't know her and my father went through so much to be together. When she finish talking she then stands, "Alora, I told you my story so you could understand. Titus hasn't seen you since you was a baby, and he and your father just started talking again. Titus came to your ceremony to tell you the truth, but unforeseen events happened and we had to wait until today. Now, let's get going, im sure our ladys are waiting on us". Then she starts walking to the door, turns towards me and smile, she then turn back around then exits the room.
