Alora: The Quod Viride Luscus Vampire

 Dez POV

I was walking beside the King heading to the main gate of the castle. We were waiting on a message from Jackson about what's going on in Dragon City. I felt an incredible urge to find Alora, I didn't understand it. I stood there when Max walked up grinning from ear to ear, " Your Majesty", as he bows. "Tristan has requested Dez's presence, he said it's rather important". This is perfect timing, I can go check on Alora then go see what Tristan wants. I followed the pull that was leading me to Alora and seen she was in the garden. When I walked into the garden, I seen her sitting on the bench with her eyes glowing purple. I rushed over to her and started shaking her intensely. I kept shaking her until she blinked, then her eyes returned to the beautiful green I was use to seeing. She was sitting there not saying anything almost like she was in a daze. After a couple of seconds she turned and looked at me, " What happened, when did you get here"? I looked her all over, to make sure she was alright, " You was in a trance or something, your eyes were glowing". She looked at me with shock in her eyes, "What are you talking about Dez, I was just sitting here enjoying the fresh air", she says as she started to stand. "I have to get back to Aubree, I'll see you around", then walked away. I stood there wondering what the hell just happened, she walked away like nothing happened. I need to talk to Tristan about this, maybe he knows something. I need to go to the library in Dragon City to do some research, but getting away would be hard. I need to talk to Max to see if he can cover for me for a day, it wouldn't take me that long to fly there and get back. I need to know if my suspicions are true, and if they are, we are in trouble.

  I rushed back to Aubree to tell her what happened, i'm sure she would know what's going on. As I reached the library, she was standing there waiting on me with her arms folded. Before she could say anything, " Aubree I need to speak to you now, somewhere private please". She looked at  me very curiously, "Follow me". We both walked into the Library, she quickly put her finger over my lips, " Shhhh, don't say anything, no matter what happens, don't say a word". She walked over to me, her hair turned snow white, her eyes started glowing, what the hell, I thought she was going to attack me, but she just touched my shoulder. I felt her go through my memories, it looked like moving pictures flowing through my mind. She jumped back, and looked at me with shock, "Alora stay right here, do not move from this spot, matter of fact, start back reading the book, do as you was instructed from the voice. I'll be right back", as she quickly leaves the room.

Aubree POV

I can't believe this shit, after all these years this bitch shows up. Dammit, I'm not happy about this, I have to go talk to Lynia right now, this cannot wait. I stood there and concentrated enough to feel her life force and then I reached out to her, "Lynia its Aubree, I need to talk to you it urgent, it's about Tatyana". I then walked to the beach and waited on her to join me. I sat there thinking while I waited on Lynia, dam Tatyana, why come out of hiding now? I know why, because of her favorite, Lynia. I've tried to please her since I was young, but because Lynia remind her of father, she favors her more. The day Lynia volunteered to take my place, our Mother, Tatyana has never forgiven me. She feel like I made Lynia leave, but in truth Lynia felt like I was destined to be great. The day Lynia left, Tatyana left and that was the last time I called her mother, she will forever be the bitch that abandoned me when I really needed her. It was for the best, it made me a stronger witch, a better witch. As I was lost in thought, Lynia must have walked up because I hadn't noticed she was standing next to me. "Aubree it must have been rather important for you to send for me". I turn and look at her, " You know damn well why I did that. Oh let me tell you what I read when I went through Aloras memories and before you go into the whole, don't read my daughter shit, she looked quite startled when she came back from her break. Tatyana contacted her and told her what to train and she also told her to have you train her in combat. She told her you are with child, which I don't know how the hell she know. " Aubree, you know how mother is, she will find out anything that she wants to know. I don't understand why she just couldn't come in person to help". I just laughed, " She know that i'm here Lynia, she know how much I despise her. I haven't called her mother since the day she left". "If she wanted to train Alora, she should've just came here herself". "Aubree please calm down, I hear the tone in your voice". "We will get to the bottom of this, mother is going to have to come to us, not go through Alora!" "Aubree you are just as powerful as mother, I need you to put a spell on Alora so mother can't reach her again". I turned and looked at my baby sister, I always loved Lynia with all my heart. Shit, she's the only one besides Alora that has a place in my heart. " I will try Lynia, Tatyana is very strong if I can do it, it will only be temporary". She turn and look at me, " Do it Aubree, I will start training Alora tonight, she will be ready for whatever comes at her, I promise you that",then she walked away.

Dez POV

I was walking to Tristan's chamber when I seen him talking to Aubree and Malik. I walked over to them " My Apologies Tristan, Max told me you wanted to have a word with me"? Tristan stop talking and turn to me, " Yes Dez, I do want to have a word with you, meet me in the library in the west hall". The west hall? I haven't seen anyone in that library ever. He's going to insulate me and kill me. I nervously walked to the library thinking this is my last day alive. No im just overreacting, i'm his daughters blood mate he wouldn't harm me. When I reached the door, I let out a deep sigh and walked in, but Tristan wasn't there yet. I started walking around looking at all the books in this library. I ran across a golden book, encrusted with diamonds and rubies, it was so beautiful, I never seen a book like this in my life. It felt like the book was calling out to me, Dezzion, come to me and learn my secrets, it repeated that over and over, getting louder and louder. I started walking over, well it felt, like I was being pulled over to it. When I reached the book, it was in a big glass display case, I lifted the glass, then I felt an arm on my shoulder, "What the hell are you doing?". I knew that voice all too well, it was Tristan. I slowly turned to him, since I had no idea why I was there, "I was just keeping myself busy while I was waiting on you.  He slowly walk in front of me so he can face me, " First thing I wanted is to apologize to you for losing my temper. I was only concerned about my daughter and wanted to protect her. Secondly, this is my library given to me by Lord Cletus to study and do my research. I've had my father send some books here for Alora and you". I didn't understand what he was talking about, why did Alora and I need books? I needed some information I needed to research, but how did he know? "Tristan I don't understand, why would we need our own library?" He looked at me and smirked, " Dez I know you have your suspicions about Alora and she needs to know everything about this realm. He started walking over to the golden books case, " Dez only Alora and you can hear this book calling to you and you two are the only ones that can read the book. I need you to bring her to this library during your free time and read this book. Dez we only have 7 weeks to get her somewhat trained before Father and you leave for dragon city". I haven't even thought about the fact that I will have to leave her until she turns 18, dammit! "Tristan I will do as you instructed, but for Aloras birthday I wanted to take her to town and spend the day with her before I leave". Tristan lets out a chuckle, " That's a good idea Dez, we're throwing her a celebration for her birthday, you can keep her busy for the day so we can decorate for the celebration, but Sorsha is going to have to go with you, she is Aloras responsibility". He started walking toward the door, " You should start tonight in bringing her here, the candles will be lit for you two. But Dez, if you lay a finger on her before her 18th birthday, you will have to answer to me", then he walked out.
