When I woke up, I was so sore and tired. I have to hurry to meet Sorsha, I can't be late on my first official day of Lady in Waiting. I use my super speed to get dressed and run downstairs to retrieve Sorsha and my breakfast. While in the kitchen, Marcel asked me what happened to my face, I brushed it off and said it was nothing. When I walked in Sorsha Chamber, she was still in bed snoring. "Wake up sleepy head, we have classes to attend". Sorsha sits up in the bed and began stretching and yawning, " I have classes, you don't....." she stops talking and hisses, " Alora what the hell happened to your face"? "It's nothing, see, its healing already", as I smile. Sorsha rolls out the bed, stands up and face me, "Alora, your like a sister to me, don't....", I instantly broke down sobbing,and then I dropped my head, "It was jerk, he tried to force himself on me last night". As I look up, I see Sorshas eyes turn red, " That dam bastard",as she hisses. Now usually Sorsha is the one that keeps me calm, but this time she's on the verge of losing control, "sorsha calm down, look at me i'm fine, plus jerk is with the healers". Sorsha took deep breaths and calms herself," Thank You Alora, I guess I have anger issues too", as she smiles. Then she has a questioning look on her face, " Alora, did you lose control, is that's why jack is with the healer"? "No,start getting ready and I'll tell you what happened". I told Sorsha everything that happened last night, except the part with Dez using his gifts, she wouldn't believe me anyways, I still can't believe what happened. Sorsha stops walking and turns to me, "Alora, do you think Dez is your Blood Mate?" "I don't know Sorsha, I just started classes, we really haven't discussed it". "Oh Alora spare me, that lesson was on day one". I look at Sorsha, "What does it mean when I wear my bloodmate colors?, "Jerk Mentioned it but I was too pissed to ask him". Sorsha sighs, " It means when you're ready to complete your bond, you wear your bloodmate colors under your dress." I look at Sorsha uncomfortably," Do you mean my undergarments?" "Yes Alora, you have to have sex to complete the mating process", she says rolling her eyes. I stand up and hands Sorsha her breakfast, " enough of that talk, drink your breakfast before we're late", as I smile. "don't try to change to subject Alora, how does he make you feel?" "I start stuttering as usual when im nervous, " I mean he's hot.., sweet...and funny".... Sorsha cuts me off, "He might be your blood mate!!!", she squeals excitedly. "Sorsha please, I have another year to worry about that, let's get going, we don't want to be late". "Your no fun", as she walks out the door.

As Sorsha and I walk down the corridor, we see King Titus, "Alora my dear, how are you feeling?" " I'm fine your majesty, no need to worry about me as I curtesy. "Well I see you're healing just fine", as he smiles and faces Sorsha, "Lady Sorsha, Alora will not be attending class today, Her parents and I need to talk". "I understand, Your Majesty, she doesnt pay attention in class anyway", as she walks toward the room to attend class. Titus puts his arm around my back, "Come my dear, let's have a chat with your parents". We walk in silence to Lord Cletus Study, and my parents were in there waiting. I take a seat by them and watch as King Titus takes a seat. "Alora, I brought you here so we all can have a little chat, it's time for the truth to come out". "Alora, do you know why I attended your ceremony?" "Because you're the King of Dragons", I answer softly. "Well that is correct, but there's another reason". "Alora, I'm your grandfather, Tristan is my son". I sit there for a couple of seconds, "Are you serious?" "I can't believe this shit!" " Alora"!, language!", my father said sternly. I stand up, " Language is that all you have to say?!" "My world has been turned upside down, and you chose this moment, the morning after....", I feel a lump forming in my throat, tears are streaming down my face, as my fangs try to extend. I look at my parents, " Screw this", as I hiss and run out the study.

Dez's P.O.V

I was standing at the entrance of the castle saying my goodbyes to Jackson, then I see Alora running out crying. I tell Jackson bye as fast as i could, then followed her to the beach. I walk up to her slowly, I really don't want to scare her away. I stand next to her, and I see the sun shining off her beautiful copper skin. Her red hair blowing in the wind as she stare at the ocean. She wipes away her tears, still staring at the ocean, "why are you here Dez, I don't need a babysitter". I hated to see her like this, I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything will be fine. " I just wanted to make sure you're ok, I seen you were upset". She turns to me, "just family problems, nothing to concern you". "Alora, im here for you, I turn her to face me; I'm here if you need to talk, or I could just stand here next to you while you think. But i'm not leaving you here by yourself". She looks up at me, and time stood still as I stared into her sparkling green eyes. "Dez, I need to ask you a question, and I need you to be honest". She takes a deep breath, "Did you save me last night because you know who my grandfather is?" I really thought she was going to ask me something else, but im glad she didn't, Because I cannot lie to her. I smile at her, and grab her hands, "No, I didn't find out until after I saved you". "Why did you save me then?" "Alora I want to tell you, believe me I do, but you will find out soon enough, and when you do, we will continue this conversation", as I kiss her hands. "Now let's get back to the castle, before they send out a search party for you". As we walk back, she still looks so sad, lost in her thoughts. She doesn't deserve none of this bullshit that is happening to her, I wish I could take her away from everything. We reach the castle's entrance an she turns to look at me, " Thank You Dez", as she smiles. "Alora,I know the timing isn't right, as I start stuttering, dammit, its like I lose all senses when she's around me. I muster all my strength, " I'm going to be here for a while, and umm....I was wondering if you would like to go into town with me". She stares at me for about 30 seconds, I swear she's staring into my soul, " Ok Dez, but under one condition", as she smirks. "We are going to continue the conversation we started on the beach", then she walks into the castle and disappear.
