Dez POV

I was rushing through the corridor looking for Alora, she would usually be with Sorsha right now, but where would they be. I walked to the kitchen and seen them sitting there eating a piece of chocolate cake and sitting there talking and giggling. I walked up to them and turned to Alora, " Hey green eyes, your father sent me to find you and take you to your mother". She looked at me and put the fork up to her mouth, " Can I finish my lunch, I am starving. And plus I have to walk Sorsha back to her chambers before I go anywhere". " I looked at her with a smirk on my face, " Don't make put you across my shoulder green eyes, Im sure I will enjoy it". "I'm pretty sure Max will come walk Sorsha to her chamber". She looked up at me with those beautiful green eyes, " I swear Dez, why is it everytime im minding my business, here you come" , as she took another bite. While she was sitting there about to take another bite, I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder and began walking. She was struggling at first but then she accepted it and stop struggling. As I was walking, I heard her huffing and puffing in anger. I stopped walking and put her down, I figured she wanted to walk the rest of the way. She wouldn't even say one word to me, damn shes pissed. I wanted to say something but I was afraid she would bite my head off literally. I built up the courage and was about to say something to her when we ran into her mother and Lady Cassandra. Cassandra had a worried look on her face and Lynia was looking very nervous. I was just about to say something to her when I heard a voice in my head telling me to take Alora to the library and sit there until they come and get us. It was Lynia talking to me through my mind, how in the fuck did she do that? I guess I need to be around witches more, they all have different gifts, but I never ran into one that can talk to you through your mind. When they walked pass, I grabbed Aloras hand and started walking toward the library. In mid stride Alora stopped and snatched her hand away, " Dez I thought you said you was taking me to my mother, she just passed us, where are we going?" "Come on green eyes I will tell you about it when we reach the library, too many ears around here". When we arrived at the library, I guided her in and shut the door. "Alora, what I tell you can never leave this room". I let out a sigh, " There is a spy here from King Morton, he wants you for your power Alora". "I brung you here because the spy escaped and they were afraid that she took you". I looked at her while she was taking everything in, she had a stale look on her face. I grabbed her hands and kissed them, " Don't worry green eyes, I will protect you with every fiber of my being". "No one will ever harm you while im alive".

Lynia POV

After I told Dez to take Alora to the library, Lady Cassandra and myself walked to the study as requested by King Titus. I felt Tristan's emotions and they weren't nice. What the hell is going on? Cassandra is quite nervous considering she always knows what goes on but she is in the dark too. When we reached the study door, Cassandra told me to wait outside the door and walked in. I was standing there thinking, what if this has something to do with that fucker jack, but surely I would be in there too. As I thought that, the door opened and Tristan looked out and told me to enter. When I entered the study, everyone was in there including Aubree, shit this isn't good. King Titus looked around the room and said we were waiting on Lord Cletus to get started. Standing there I heard a voice in my head, of course it's Aubree. "Let me handle this dear sister, control your temper, no matter what happens". At that moment, Lord Cletus and Malik walked in and stood next to Cassandra and Tristan. King Titus looked around the room and started speaking, " I've summoned everyone here because as you know we have been trying to figure out the shit that happened between Alora and Jack. Aubree has found out some interesting news about the situation". He started walking over to Lord Cletus and Cassandra looking at them like he was a hunter stalking its prey. He moves Lord Cletus out the way and started staring at Cassandra very intensely.  Before he could say anything Aubree interrupted him, "King Titus, why don't I just show Lord Cletus and Lady Cassandra what we found out?" She turns to Cassandra, " Im sure they would be interested in seeing rather than hearing", as she let out a smirk. Aubree stared at both of them while her eyes started glowing. They both looked shocked and scared at the same time, but then both Lord Cletus and Cassandra faces changed as Aubree showed them what she found out. Lord Cletus started hissing as he was getting very angry, but Cassandra had a scared look on her face. That's when it hit me, she had something to do with what Jack did, I instantly started hissing. I felt myself about to lose control, but I cant do shit to this bitch, that fucking blood oath. Titus walked closer to her, " Do you have something to say for yourself Cassandra?" She looked around the room visibility shaking and scared. "Well your majesty..." as she stuttered, "I didn't know she was your grand....." and before she could finish her sentence, he punched her in the face, blood splattered everywhere. Then he bent down and grabbed her by her neck and held her in the air while her legs dangled. I looked around the room and seen everyone watching him in awe as he choked her. When I turned back to look, Cassandra was gasping for air as he tightened his grip around her neck. As she struggled for her life, I seen energy running from his hand to Cassandra's body and she went limp. He dropped her body on the ground, "You thought it would be over that fucking  easy cadela?( cadela means bitch in Poruguese) then he turned to Cletus, " Pick this fucking bitch up and take her to the cells", as he growled.  Titus turned at Cletus as he rushed over to Cassandra, " Lord Cletus I would like it if you would come back here when you are done. Don't make me send for you". Cletus turned to Titus, " Yes your majesty", then he picked Cassandra limp body up and scurred out the room. 

Alora POV

I was sitting in the library still pissed off at Dez, how dare he treat me like a child. I can tell that he want to talk to me, but doesnt know if i'm still mad at him or not. We've been in here for what seemed like hours, he was trying to keep himself busy. He was so cute fumbling with the books and old scrolls, sneaking little looks at me. I think i'm going to mess with him a little bit, it is boring, plus I can get him back for picking me up over his shoulder. I walked to the bookcase where he was standing then pretended to look for a book. I glanced over to him and seen him getting very nervous, I could hear his heart beating rapidly. Just as when I was about to turn to him, Sorsha busted through the door panicked, "Alora did you see my father carrying my mother to the cells? I thought I was dreaming, but then I followed him, he took her to the cells." I just stood there, what the fuck did she just say? Did that bitch Cassandra have something to do with the spy or worse Jacks attack? "Sorsha Dez and I have been in here for hours. I will ask mother or father about it. Don't worry Sorsha, we will find out what's going on", as I smiled. Dez had a weird look on his face, I wonder if he knows about what is going on. I will ask him later when we are alone. She lets out a sigh as she turned her back to me and started sobbing. I turned to Dez, " Dez will you please give us a moment alone". He nods and smiled at me, " I'll be outside the door", then he walked out and closed the doors. I then walk over to her and started hugging her from behind, "Its ok Sorsha we will figure this out". She broke my embrace, then turned to me, " Alora, these are tears of joy, it's about time someone did something about mother. Maybe she will learn her lesson and become a better person." I giggled at the thought of Cassandra becoming a better person, " Are you talking about the wicked bitch of the north?" We both started laughing in the middle of the library. I hated to see Sorsha upset or crying, I was trying to cheer her up. It's not her fault her mother is such an evil bitch, its like all of her feelings and love went into Sorsha. I was standing there think when I heard a commotion coming outside the door, then Max busted through the doors, " We need to get you two somewhere safe, a prisoner escaped". He grabbed both of us and started pulling us, I stopped him, " Where is Dez, and where are you taking us?" He let out a sigh, "Alora I will tell you everything when Sorsha and you are safe, come we need to go". I'm so tired of the secrecy and lies, they don't tell me shit until the shit hits the fan. "Look Max, you need to tell me something, so help me". I felt my fangs starting to descend, I was really trying to control my anger, but i'm tired of everyones shit. The wind started to pick up, my body started shaking, I felt all the energy circling around me. Max tried to grab my arm but he got shocked and flew across the room. At that moment Sorsha hissed and ran over to me  using her vampire speed and slapped me as hard as she could,"Alora snap the hell out of it, calm the fuck down". As I snapped back into reality, I looked around the library and it was a total wreck. I seen Max laying on the floor knocked out and Sorsha staring at me with her red eyes pissed off, what have I done.
