Chapter 51

  Marius, Fleur, and the servant girl are running in the forest for their lives. Guards ordered by Lucis are chasing them but he gave them a good head start before he dispatched the guards. When King Morton received the news that Marius broke Fleur out of her cells, he smiled and felt some pride for his son. Fleur was slowing down, her body was very weak from the torturing King Morton's men did to her. Maruis and the servant girl Nangel stopped and faced Fleur, who was panting and sweat started to form on her forehead. " Just leave me here and go, I'm too weak to continue", she said in between breaths. Marius frowned at the idea of leaving her anywhere, he picked up Fleur and looked at Nangel, " I'll carry her and meet you there", and disappeared. Nangel stood there in shock with her mouth wide open, then she came to her senses, " You're just going to leave me here by myself? Are you serious?", she yelled. She quickly ripped off her servant clothes to reveal a green outfit, then she put her hair in a ponytail and jumped fifty feet in the air and landed on a leaf. She started assembling her weapon while she waited on the guards to catch up, the only problem she felt she had is how should she kill them. Lucis only sent a handful of guards to catch them, he knew Nangel would take care of them. When the guards caught up to her, she put her weapon on her back and started running unison with them while in the trees. She quickly reached in her pouch and pulled out a handful of black thorns and put them in her mouth. She pulled something out of her sleeve that resembled a flute, put it to her mouth and started shooting the thorns at the guards. As soon as the thorns hit their skin, the guards fell dead on the ground, blood was oozing from their eyes and mouth. She chuckled as she thought about the weak vamps that Lucis sent after them. She started laughing harder and harder at the thought about how weak they were, she almost fell out the tree she was laughing so hard. She jumped down out of the tree, landed on her feet and began running to catch up to Maruis.

Lee was following the blood trail until he heard a loud growl coming from outside. He continued to follow the trail until he heard the second growl and turned around and began to walk toward the main door of the castle. When he opened the door King Titus was walking in, " Lee it's good to see you, come with me. We need to find Lord Cletus, we are under attack". Lee stared at King Titus trying to see if he should follow him or continue to search for Alora and Sorsha. King Titus saw him struggling within when he smiled, " Her BloodMate, mother and father are here. She will be ok, come I need you with me". Lee nodded and followed him up the stairs to Lord Cletus's chamber. When they reached the door King Titus, King Titus stopped when he smelled blood, lots of it. When he reached out to the door he felt an ominous power of a witch and frowned. He turned to Lee, " Be on alert", and opened the door to the most gruesome sight of blood and guts decorating the walls and ceiling of the room. Lee was in complete and utter shock when he saw the scene in front of him, he started to hurl in the corner. King Titus too was in shock, but he composed himself because he has seen this type of magic before. His eyes started glowing as electricity began to course around him. " Go find Tatiyana or Queen Razel and tell them to get here quickly, she's back". Lee had just finished hurling when he heard King Titus's orders but was too scared to move, until he felt a zap of electricity and jumped back to his senses. He looked at King Titus, nodded and ran out as fast as he could. When he walked outside, he was surprised by the scene he saw. King Mortons army was advancing and Queen Razel, Tatiyana, Aubree, and Lynia were defending the front, holding them back. He ran over to Tatiyana, who was standing there with her eyes glowing, concentrating. " King Titus needs you in the castle, He said that she's back". She snapped attention to him and very calmly asked him to repeat himself, " She's back", he repeated. She grabbed his arm, " Which room?", "Lord Cletus's chamber", he answered. She snapped her fingers and a portal opened right in front of them; she walked through and grabbed Lee's arm, " You need to come with me". Lee really didn't want to travel through this thing, he would rather run back up there. Lee closed his eyes as he went through and when he opened them they were in Lord Cletus's chamber. King Titus was still standing in the middle of the room, he eyes were still glowing. " You sent for me", as she walked over to him. " You know why I sent for you, I know you feel this", as he raised his eyebrow. She smiled as she looked around, " It looks like someone had some fun with Lord Cletus. Leave me, I will take care of her myself". King Titus and Lee began to walk out when Lee turned around to say something but Tatiyana yelled at them to go. Once they left she turned around with a big wicked grin on her face, " I was wondering when you was going to show your ugly face". She closed her eyes and took her a deep breath, her hair started to turn snow white and the wind began to pick up. She suddenly opened her eyes, " "APPAREBIT!"(appear in Latin). The wind started to pick up and a mini tornado started to form and move around the chamber. When it started to disappear a gray haired witch was standing in front of her. " you just can't mind your own fucking business! After tonight I will make sure you learn, you meddling bitch!", The witch yelled. She threw a wave of fire at her with such speed, but Tatiyana smiled more and waved her hand. The witch thought that she had gotten a direct hit but when the fire dissipated, a blue light was surrounding her body, protecting it. Tatiyana waved her hand again and little blue orbs of light appeared and shot straight at the witch like little bullets hitting her body at such a force her body was pushed out of the window. Without hesitation Tatiyana ran and jumped out too, "This treacherous bitch isn't going to get away from me this time!", she thought as she landed on her feet and scanned for the witch. The witch was getting up off the ground, her clothes were blood-soaked and tattered, her breathing was shallow. Even tho it was a battle going on around them, the only person that Tatiyana seen was the witch that she despised more than anything. " Don't try to run now! I will rip your ass apart!" Tatiyana pulled out her daggers and charged the witch with full force and sliced at her face, " I will fuck up the other side of you disgusing face!, as she slide into her fighting stance. The witch turned toward Tatiyana and pulled out her sword and it began to glow, " I will finish you myself today! I'm tired of playing with you!'

Dez was standing at the exit of the tunnel, he was trying to catch up with Jack but Jack was long gone with Cassandra after he seen the commotion in the tunnels. Dez felt the raged in him, he wanted to kill Jack so bad because its all his fault. He already decided that he would let him go this time, he had to get Alora and Sorsha out of here. He frowned and furrowed his eyebrows when Marina walked up behind him, " You sent for me?", she asked nervously. She knew Dez was beyond pissed and she didn't know if he was pissed at her or not. He shouldn't be, she thought as she bit her lip nervously, " Go assist Max, he's fighting a Fire Dragon". The shadows started to surround him, " I will get everything ready for our departure", then he disappeared into the night. Marina looked up with her dragon sight and spotted Max and the Fire Dragon fighting in the air. She walked onto the battlefield as her eyes began to glow fiery red, her body had a fire shield dancing on her skin. She shifted into her dragon and took off to the sky, the same fire shield surrounded her dragon, this time more intense. She flew around so she could come from behind the Fire Dragon with her claws out. The Fire Dragon was too busy trying to break through Max's scales, he didn't notice Marina flying toward them at full speed. She rammed into his shoulders with her claws, stabbed him with her tail, and bite into his neck with such force she heard cracking noises. He growled and let Max go as he tried to get her off of him. Max seen who was on the Fire Dragon and instantly started flying away, he has seen her fight before and he needs to get as far away from them as soon as possible. She bite down harder as he tried to break free from her grip, she was trying to give Max enough time to get distance between them. When she thought Max was far enough, her fire shield sharted to grow and surrounded them both and began to burn bright. The Fire Dragon felt his body beginning to burn from the inside out and struggled to break free but Marina was determined to end his life. Marina finally let go as he body began to burn into ash..... covering the battlefield.
