     Dez's POV

I walked Alora to her chamber, I didn't want to leave her, I never wanted to leave her. After I gave her a good night kiss, I started walking toward the library. Max should be meeting me any moment, but I see he's preoccupied with Sorsha. Once I reached the Library, I stood there for a couple of minutes waiting on Max , but he was nowhere to be seen, damn. I walked in the library and everyone was there except Max and I. "I'm glad you finally made it Dez, where is Max?, King Titus asked. " He's still walking Sorsha to her chamber, he should be here any moment". "Ok then, we will catch you up on what we found out", King Titus said as he started walking toward me. "Malik", he said while facing me. Malik narrowed his eyes to me like he doesn't trust me, " You think it's wise for him to know something this important?" I can't believe this motherfucker just said that! I'm the only one worthy of knowing. Im the most loyal dragon in the realm, how fucking dare him! King Titus must have seen my face, patted my shoulder and turned to Malik, " He is my most trusted dragon. Other than you and Tristan, who else could I trust?" Malik looked at me and sighed, "Ok then, if you trust him enough". He cleared his throat, " I'm going to start with in the past, I was best friends even a brother to Lucis, King Mortons first in command. Well more like King Morton's strategist. We fell out many years ago, when we parted ways, I told Lucis that if I saw him again I would kill him. Lucis knows that I'm a vampire of my word so he has kept his distance from me, until tonight. He sent Marius, King Morton's son, to deliver me a message to help Alora". That's when I really started paying attention, no wonder King Titus wanted me to hear this. Malik continued, " He gave me a map to the " Oracles", who will know why and how King Morton wants Aloras gifts and how he plans on getting them". Malik showed me the map, " Oracles", as I examined the map. I finished examining the map and looked up at King Titus, " I've heard of the Oracles when I was young. They are said to be blind witches who gave their sight to remember. They are not that far, it would take a full day to reach them and return". King Titus stared at me for a moment, " I wonder what did they want to remember to give up their sight?", he mumbled. "Dez, I need you to send a message to Jackson. We will leave tomorrow morning. Max, since he's not here will stay here and protect the women".  

Tristan's POV

I sat there during the whole meeting silent, I was tired and wanted to get back to my love. When everyone left I stayed there because I wanted to talk to my father alone. "Father, there is no need for me to come if Dez and Malik are". He smiled as he walked over to me, it's as if he knew I was going to say something about it. "Son I know you're worried about Lynia but, if you're here King Morton would show his hand? Lord Cletus and Max will be here, plus Jackson is moving closer". He started to walk toward the door, " So you don't have anything to worry about. Aubree, Tatyiana and Queen Razel are here too". He was right we need King Morton to make his move so they can stop worrying about their safety. We have to find a way to get my family out of here and safely to Dragon CIty. " Ok father you're right, I was thinking with my emotions and not my head", as I met him at the door. " It's ok son, that's why I'm here, to teach you". He then walked out and Marina was standing there waiting on him. I see he's really keeping her in his sights, good for her. I walked in the opposite direction, I needed to clear my mind before I reached my chamber.I was walking and saw Marcel coming from the guest chambers, she was just the fairy I was looking for. "Hi Marcel, mind if I walk and talk with you?" She turned around to face me and smiled, "Tristan you know you don't need permission to talk to me". She had some laundry in her hand that I grabbed from her and began to walk with her. "Marcel I know you're close friends with Lynia and would protect her with your life" Marcel stopped walking and had a questioning look, " Tristan stop beating around the bush, what do you have to ask me?" She is very smart, she knows when I kiss up to her, I want something. I started to walk again but she stood there staring at my dam back, " Come on Marcel, I want to talk to you and no one else". I guess she understood what I said because she began to walk quickly to catch up with me, I slowed a little so she could catch up, she has such little legs. Once she caught up, I chuckled and she cut her eyes at me, " Tristan stop playing with me and tell me what you want!" "Ok Marcel I'm done playing with you. I'm leaving in the morning with my father on business. I need you to keep an eye out on Lynia and Alora. I know I sound a little paranoid but I have been feeling uneasy all day". She must have stopped walking because when I looked around, she was just standing there with a strange look on her face. "Tristan... I understand the feeling that you're feeling, I too have been having an uneasy feeling. I don't understand it but it's there". She started walking again and grabbed the laundry from my hands, " This is where I leave you and of course I will look after Lynia and Alora when you're gone. Don't worry", as she smiled. "Thank you Marcel, Lynia is lucky to have you", and walked away. At least that's one thing off my mind, at least she will keep an eye on them. I almost reached my chamber, I know Lynia is sleeping now damn. When I turned the corner I saw Suri pacing back and forth. " Suri why are you here?" She stopped pacing and faced me, " Oh Tristan it's you. I need to talk to you".  I walked closer to her and sighed, " Can this wait Suri, I'm really tired and have a long day tomorrow". She rushed closer to me "No it can't, I need to talk to you now!" I frowned at her, did she just raise her voice at me? "It's about Alora!", she blurted out. I quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her away from my chamber door, " Suri lower your voice, you could wake Lynia", as I whispered. "Well Im sorry, I need to talk to you now", she said sternly. "OK Suri what the hell is so important?". She looked at me and took a deep breath, " before you interrupt me let me explain everything. Lee and I were hired by King Morton to kidnap Alora. Once we realized who she was, of course we couldn't do it but decided to protect her. We have known you all since we were young, there is no way we could betray her", as she lowered her head. 'WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!",as I growled. I swear I can't get a good night rest, it's always something. Suri was startled by my reaction and jumped back away, the look on her face showed she was debating on staying there or running. I took a deep breath to calm down, I know they didn't come to harm Alora. I walked closer to her and put my hand on her shoulder and she instantly jumped away. " Suri, I'm not going to hurt you, tell me everything". Suri told me everything and I was pissed off but it's a good thing that she's on our side. "Suri, I will hire you and your brother to secretly guard Alora wherever she goes. You two will accompany us to Dragon City too. You will not let her be aware of it either, just hang out with her and Sorsha". She looked at me and smiled, " OK, Thank You Tristan for trusting us. We will start tomorrow", as she hugged me and skipped away. I swear that Suri is a weird one, but her gift is powerful and to just have her around will benefit us.

 Back at King Morton's Castle

In the middle of the night Marius can't sleep after tonight's events. His mind is on Fleur and is she alright or not. He couldn't get the image of her face being melted by his bastard father! He was walking the corridors in a daze, how did his life end up like this, he wondered. Since they put Fleur in the cells, Marius has tried to see her over 100 times but failed. He stood there at the doorway thinking of a way to see her, Damn him! Why does he have to be my father? Just as he was about to turn around and leave he saw a figure standing in the far corridor. Marius turned around and followed the figure to a secluded part of the castle. Once he walked up to the figure he realized who it was, " What are you doing up? Why are you here?" Lucis turned around and smirked, " You make you actions noticeable, why are you so stupid?" Marius furrowed his eyebrows, " "What did you expect for me to just go on with my life when she's locked up in here?" "You need to think Marius, now he really knows that you have deep feelings for her. Now the only solution is that you two need to leave here at once. He is still going to kill her to torture you." Marius thought about what Lucis said and knew that he's right. He is very smart and he thinks everything through before he mentions it. "What do you have in mind? I know you have something." Lucis took a deep breath and looked at Marius, " The attack that your father is planning isn't going to go well. She still will get away and they will retreat to Dragon City. Malik will go there but he will come back to Lord Cletus's Castle because he is loyal. You and Fleur have to meet him at Dragon City and convince him that you left your father's castle and you are on their side. You need to leave Fleur there for her protection and go to Lord Cletus Castle with Malik". Marius stood there trying to process what the hell Lucis just said. How could he leave, but that's exactly what he wanted to do, but it's not that simple. "Lucis it's not going to be that easy, how could I get Fleur out of here?" Lucis chuckled, this kid has no idea who he is, " Let me worry about that, I just have one request. The servant that's going to help Fleur escape has to go with you when you leave. She will go to the Fairy Kingdom, King Morton never noticed her so he will not notice when she leaves". He turned to walk away but stopped, " Marius do be ready tonight, you need to eat and rest. You will need as much energy as possible", and walked away. Lucis thought this through, Malik is the only one who could help them. He just hopes that Malik joins forces with them, it's the only way to defeat King Morton.
