Dez P.O.V.

Max and I was walking the King to the healers wing to observe the interrogation of the fairy that we found outside the gate. When we reached the room that she was in, Lord Cletus and Tristan were already in there attempting to question her. King Titus looks at Max and I, "You two can go, I think I'll be ok from here". We both bow and walk away, I was glad he dismissed us, now I can go see my other half. I've been anxious to see her since she said she would meet me. I told Max I wanted to stop in the garden to grab something special for Alora. I should've just went alone, Max keep teasing me about finding my other half. I walk through the garden and see the perfect gift for her. I pick it up and put it in my pocket, then start walking to the beach to meet the ladies. When we got close to the beach, we heard screams, and I knew one of those screams was Aloras. I pulled my daggers out as we ran as fast as we could. We reached the beach and seen a troll running toward Sorsha and Alora, my heart started beating so fast. Just as I was about to use my gifts, an orb of water hit the troll back. I turned and looked at Max and his eyes was glowing blue, and he had his hands moving in a circular motion. I turned around to Alora and seen her face, I just seen fear and curiosity on it. I looked up to see what Max was doing to the troll and seen it stop moving, then the orb bursted and the troll body slammed into the sand. I then walked up to the troll and began to cut its throat with my daggers,I cut deep enough to decapitate it. Blood flew everywhere as I cut all the way through. 

Max P.O.V.

When Dez and I heard the screams we ran to the beach and seen the troll about to attack Alora and Sorsha. Sorsha was so beautiful, her blonde hair was blowing in the wind. Her eyes had fear in them, but they were the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in my life. I knew for a fact that Dez would use his gifts to save Alora but Sorsha was there and she would see. I could not let him, the king will truly be upset, So I quickly started using my gifts, as my eyes started glowing I started moving my hands in a circular motion. I focus on the ocean and created an orb of water and shot it right at the troll. It fell back, but then started to get back up; dam this thing is persistent. I concentrated harder and made an orb big enough to drown this thing. When the water incased the troll, I lifted it in the air and started swirling the around drowning it. Once it stopped moving, I released it from the orb and body falls on the sand. While Dez walked over to the troll, I glanced over at Sorsha and our eyes meet. I walked over to them and asked if they were ok," Are you two ok", but my eyes were fixated with Sorsha, I cant believe Ive found her. Shit, perfect timing, I just finished training, I can't deal with this shit, but I'm not going to have a choice. Alora looked at me, " We are fine thanks to you", as she smiled. " You two need to get back to the castle so you won't get in trouble. Dez and I will handle this", then I walked over by the troll body.

Sorsha and I ran back to the castle and was very careful not to be seen. We seen King Titus, Lord Cletus, and my father running towards the beach, they must've heard the commotion with the troll. As we were walking to Sorsha chambers, we ran into Aubree standing there with her arms crossed, " Where have you two been this late?" Just as when Sorsha was about to answer, I step forward," We were in the garden talking, we heard some noise and came back in". She looks at me, then started walking closer to me. She leans to my ear, then whisper, " I know you're lying dear niece, I hope there is a good reason that you would lie to me. You may not know this, but I already know where you two have been and who you were with". Then she stands straight and walks away. I stood there not knowing what to say or do. I looked at Sorsha with a puzzled look on my face, " She knows where we were and who we was with", I say softly. Sorsha turns and looked at me, " How does she know, who is she?" 'She is here to train me on my witch side". Sorsha turn her nose up at me, " She needs to mind her own business", then she started laughing. "Come on Sorsha lets get going so we can get some rest". I walk Sorsha to her room, got her laundry and made my way to kitchen to dropped them off. I poured me a cup of rabbit blood and started sipping it as I started thinking about the troll attack.  As I finish the cup, I started walking to my chambers. I felt like someone was watching me, so I started walking faster. As soon as I reached my chambers, I jumped back when I seen Dez leaning on the door. "Geesh Dez you need bells on you or something". "Sorry green eyes, I forgot you are so jumpy", as he laughs. "I just came to see how you are doing". I walk up to him, reach up and move the piece of hair that's out of place. " I'm fine Dez, Its Sorsha im worried about. She doesn't see things like that often, me either, but i've seen you use your gifts". He grabs my hand, " Come let's go for a walk". He guides me out the castle to the garden, then we sat on the bench. He looks at me with the most serious look i've ever seen on his face. " Alora I have to tell you something and I don't know how you will react to it". He takes a deep breath, then he started to look nervous. I wonder what he has to tell me, it cant be that bad for him to start getting nervous. He looks me in my eyes as he began to talk again, " Alora when a dragon find there other half we know it instantly, we don't have to wait to become mature to recognize them. I knew from the moment I seen you that you are my other half. I'm not suppose to tell you until after your 18th birthday, when you will know, to tell you. I cannot be around you without the bond growing more and more. Alora you are my other half, and i'm your bloodmate." I wasn't shocked or surprised, it's like I already knew, I just needed confirmation. I felt the pull toward him, butterflies in my stomach, and the spark when he touched me. He is mine and I am his, we are one, just thinking about it made me blush. I reached my hand to his face and began stroking his cheek, " Dez I knew it was something different about you. I felt a connection with you ever since our eyes met. I smile and start running my fingers through his soft beautiful hair. " Thank you for telling me the truth Dez". He reach for my hair and start twirling it with his fingers, " I could never lie to you green eyes, you are my other half". We were staring into each other eyes, I think he's going to kiss me, I started to get excited. My heart started racing, my palms became sweaty, this is it, my first kiss. He leaned towards me, closed his eyes, then I hear a voice. " What the fuck is going on here?" I turned my head so fast, Dez hand got stuck in my hair. When I finally seen who was there, all the blood drained out of my face, It was my father, standing there looking pissed.
