Elena's phone beeped message alerts as well as a call, and she ignored it, being lost in Elijah's kisses and cuddles. And as more message beeps came on, Elena now giving Elijah a little kiss mived out of his arms and rolled to the side of the bed to get her phone from the coat.
There were messages from Hope, Bonnie and incoming call from Caroline, as well as a message from Jenna. Then another message, as she swiped the phone. From Caroline-
"Elena, I will be in Salem, tomorrow. Please can you call me as soon as you can. Thnx. Caroline."
Elena made a little OMG why is she coming. She knew that Elijah didn't want Caroline near Hope.

"Is everything all right?" Elijah asked as Elena was answering the message still with her back turned to him.

"Yes," - Elena replied, getting up.

"Something is not right. I can tell. What is it?"
"Nothing." Elena said turning around, smiling],"Got to go - to the bathroom- and we need to get to the hospital."
She scampered away in the en-suite.
Elijah now sat up. Something was off, but he let it be. He himself now got up and putting his clothes on, knocked at the en-suite door telling her that he was going to change in his own room.
